I paid this office for a filling to be done on my tooth. I decided against using this Dentist so I asked for a refund and the office would not refund my payment. I asked for my insurance company, ***********Blue Shield to help me with my refund and the office still refused. I went to the office and they would not refund my money.

Patient called and spoke with our virtual employee who is a remote worker on 6/14/2024.  He came in on 6/25/2024 and left before speaking with someone stating he will call BC/BS.  He informed us that he did not want to come back and did not want to discuss missing his last appointments on 5/23/2024, 6/03/2024.  These two cancellations are charged $75.00 when canceled less than 24 hours.  He was not charge this fee on either date canceled.  Patient had a balance beginning 11/15/2023 as you will see reflected on his ledger.  This is because insurance payment is an estimate and they determine what they will pay and what they will not and how much.  The balance was never really taken care of so each payment has been applying to the balance  instead of work that he was getting done which has only been cleanings and one crown.

Patient was refunded ***** on 4/10/2024.  He showed evidence of this on his bank statement.  He made the payment again for the filling on tooth #5 on 5/21/2024.  When he paid the ***** on 5/21/2024 it was made his account ****** instead of -95.50.  So the patient owes us 33.50.  I will write this off due to the confusion and thus zero out his account.

I apologize for the confusion.  I am just made aware of all of this and will use it as a teaching opportunity for the admin department.

To whom it may concern: On September 29, 2022 *************************** from Divine Expressions Family Dentistry, located at *************************************************, telephone number ************** or ************** put a crown (A covering) on my tooth. After the crown was put in I started to have tenderness in places where the crown was done. Therefore, when I needed to see the dentist again, I decided to choose another dentist. On April 12, 2023 I had a schedule appointment with ************************* at ***** Dental located at **********************************************************, telephone number ************** concerning a chip on my Wisdom tooth. During that appointment, ************** performed a full ex-ray and informed me that Crown 1, which Divine Expressions Family Dentistry had put in on September 29, 2022, was already decaying. At that time, ************** suggested that I go back to ****** Expressions Family Dentistry to see if they could resolve the matter and she forward me the ex-ray so that I could provide the ex-rays to **************. I contacted Divine Expressions to schedule an appointment, e-mailed them a copy of the ex-rays that ************** provided to me and I was given a date of May 3, 2pm to come so that they could look at the ex-rays and speak with me regarding the matter. At that time, I informed the individual at the front desk that I am requesting a refund of one thousand three hundred ($1,364.00) sixty-four dollars and NO/100s and I would not like the doctor to perform any other procedures on my mouth, due to the fact that this procedure was done incorrect. When I arrived for my appointment on May 3, 2023 at 2pm, I was treated with a lack of professionalism from the time I walked in the door to the time I left. Divine Expressions Family Dentistry seem to now look at me as an enemy instead as a customer; the doctor treated me as an adversary instead of trying to maintain a dentist-patient relationship; they had me wait in the waiting room for more than forty-five (45) minutes pass my appointment time before a Dr. would come to see me. Then *************************** rushed me back to his office, roughly opened my mouth, poked around coarsely to find the crown and said everything was ok and walked out of the room without and explanation. I think I was in the office less than ten (10) mins. I have tried to resolve this issue with them for months without any assistant. I am simply requesting reimbursement of my one thousand three hundred ($1,364.00) sixty-four dollars and NO/100s for incorrect dental work that *********************** from Divine Expressions Family Dentistry performed on my teeth. I would rather work this out amicably, but if not, I will have no other option but to file a complaint with the Board of Dental Examiners of *******. I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

    Hello,

We will issue a refund today to the patients care credit card.  The patient requested to see someone else however that did not take place.  If that had another doctor could have corrected the issue, if one was present, if given the opportunity prior to going to another office. The amount refunded will be $1,364.
