    I am rejecting this response because it is fully fabricated. I am disappointed in his lack of integrity, especially after we showed nothing but kindness and appreciation towards him. We never expected James to work for free and never asked him for added services. He was paid for leaf removal, but he left several piles of leaves behind in our backyard and never even started in our front. It is not "unrealistic" to expect the majority of leaves to be gone when you are paying for leaf removal. Please see attached pictures of the piles of leaves that were left behind by James. Please also see the text messages showing that he was indeed supposed to return to finish the job. Again, we were not asking for any added services or asking him to do something he had not already agreed to/accepted payment for. We were simply expecting him to complete the job he was paid for but did not finish. I also e-mailed the BBB a video of us calling James from a number he did not recognize in order to determine if his excuses for not returning were true or not. As you can see in the video, James said our address out-loud without any prompting after I told him we were the house where he was paid but never completed the work. His response on the phone fully proves that our claims are true. Please watch this video.

    James took our money with the promise that he would return to complete the job. He never has, and I do not believe he ever intended to do so. Please do not allow him to further scam other people. Without a doubt, we deserve a refund from this man. 

    All of the attachments here (as well as the previously emailed video) help to corroborate our story. The original claim would not allow me to provide these attachments, but hopefully they are accessible and usable here. I emailed all of them in as well, just in case.

    We agreed upon a time to come and finish, and he has never showed. It has been a week, and he still has not come to finish what we paid him to do. My husband has tried calling him, and James will provide little to no response. I called him from my phone, and he finally answered. When I asked if he was available to help with leaf removal today, he said "possibly." I told him that would be great because we are the house that paid him for work that he has not yet completed. Upon saying that to him, James said our address out-loud. This shows that he is admitting to that claim...that he was paid for unfinished work. He then said he actually couldn't come today because it was too late and that his truck was still "broken." We have this phone conversation on video. but it is not allowing me to upload it here. I also have pictures that I am having difficulty uploading. Please reach out for these, and please stop this man from further scamming people.

    The original job was finished I was slow down by the arrival of snowy precipitation pawn the melting of the snow the customer corresponded with me hoping to add services without adding any monetary value to me they wanted me to do more work for free and let them know that I could come out there and give them another quote on the additional work they were unsatisfied and had unrealistic expectations I gave them a quote and it took them a month before they let me come out to do the job so I told him that there would be additional charges they were not happy with the additional charge so I told them that I would give them the amount of work that had been previously quoted and they told me to go ahead and proceed they basically wanted more work for no money
