We are sorry for your experience. However, as weve stated before, since this matter involves private, protected information, we cannot disclose details about you on this public forum. This is due to the ***** and other federal laws that are meant to protect you, not us. We can state that these statutes require that, before we speak with you, we first confirm we are speaking to the correct person before providing details about the call. The reasoning for this is so we do not disclose your private information to third parties. (see *****, CFPB). It is common for people to move, change phone numbers, change their name, or other such unknown circumstances; so, we are not permitted to disclose the details of the call until we first verified that we were speaking to the correct party. While this may be uncomfortable, the law requires it, so we have no other option than to confirm. As to the call itself, again, we record all calls and have reviewed your call with our representative. As required, the representative identified herself and the company, and she then attempted to confirm she was speaking to the correct person. However, you abruptly responded that you were about to go into [a location] and didnt have time for the call so you hung up. The entire call was 38 seconds. If you work for a company in the same industry, then you should be familiar with the industry rules. However, if, as you say, your company provides private information to individuals you call without confirming the identity of the person youre speaking with, then you are violating federal law, and we recommend that you update your policies to comply with federal requirements. As always, were more than happy to discuss this matter with you at your convenience. Weve been in business here in ****** since 1915 and assure you its a legitimate matter. Please contact our office and well discuss the details with you.

We can state that we are bound by these statutes that require that, before we speak with you, we first confirm we are speaking with the correct person before providing details about the call. As to the callers demeanor, we record all calls and your call with our representative has been reviewed. As required, she identified herself, the name of the company she was calling from, and that it was a personal matter that required she verify she had the correct person before discussing further. She was not rude, and when asked, repeated that she would be happy to discuss the details with you but had to confirm she had the correct person first. When you refused to confirm, she stated she could not discuss it and to have a good day. If you will call our office, we will be more than happy to discuss this with you. Weve been in business here in ****** since 1915 and assure you its a legitimate matter.
