      Stay as far as you can. They are 100x worse than any big corporate bank. They are completely inflexible when it comes to an occasional accidental overdraft. They will take money from your account monthly if you have a change of address and forget to inform them. They will take money from your account monthly for doing nothing because it's in the small print you signed over a decade ago when you opened the account. Good luck getting but a few pennies on any of these fees refunded.

      Dear Mr. ********* We take all comments to heart and value all our members. However, as a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we rely on our membership to abide by the Membership Agreement. The overall savings a member has with a Credit Union comes in the form of higher dividends on account and lower loan rates on loans. Any fees incurred typically cover the costs the Credit Union incurs so we do not share that with the rest of the membership. We have not increased our fee structure in years. We do offer many services to help members manager their accounts. Change of addresses can be done free and easily online through our ********************** and we do offer Courtesy Pay and also a Personal Line of Credit loan that can help with overdrafts easily. Dormant accounts can be easily rectified by making a transfer or transaction. These can be set up to happen again behind our **********************. Since we are unclear on exactly what fee you are referring to, we are addressing this matter as best we can. In the meantime, we encourage you to ask about these services in the future - whether with our Credit Union or another financial institution if that is your choice. Your options to help manage your account should have been explained better to you and we certainly hate this caused you to write this review. Please know at our last Member Survey, our members were highly satisfied with the service they received from New Horizons Credit Union, and we sincerely apologize that you feel otherwise. We can only recommend that you look into the services mentioned. Any of our representatives in the branches or in our *********** at ************ can assist if you are still interested in keeping your membership with New Horizons Credit Union. We certainly hope that you are and are here to help when you are ready.

      They really ********** great member service. Their staff is caring and helpful with borrowing and credit. I can use my Debit card like an ATM card at many places at no charge - which is really helpful because I am on the road a lot.
