My husband is a disabled veteran and we had to downsize vehicles due to a debilitating eye condition. We spent all day purchasing a car and when we left we were exhausted and got a call on the drive home about a death in the family. We had a loaner car over the weekend and then went on that Monday to pick up our car. When we picked it up we asked for a copy of the paperwork we signed since we did not leave with any copies of anything. After reviewing it we found we were not sold a Subaru warranty as we had asked but instead a third party warranty for more than double the price. After many many calls we were sent the cancellation forms and that our warranties would be refunded in full. That was May 2. The policies have been cancelled and we have yet to receive our refund which we were told would take 4-6 weeks. No response when emailing or calling. Very frustrating as we want to refinance to get a better loan for only the amount of the vehicle financed as we had requested. Lack of communication is the worst ever. We missed out on the lower interest rate through Subaru due to being under the impression Truist is who Subaru uses for their loans.

I was trying to purchase a vehicle and had requested a copy of the worksheet. When I inspected the worksheet, the price of the vehicle was two thousand dollars higher than the online advertised price. After this and several problem items were, they ghosted me. No new proposal and no response to inquiries.I even pointed out that I was hard of hearing so I preferred email communication only yet they still tried to call.

Hello BBB,  Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  The comment is absolutely untrue.  We have been repeatedly emailing him to make sure he received the revised worksheets, to which he has never responded.  I will attempt to enclose the entire conversation from our CRM here now, however it does not copy the worksheets that were also sent to him:

I wont make it *any* day with the current proposal.
First, the sale price has gone *up* 2K from what is shown on line. I would expect a bit of a discount from that price.
Secondly, you are offering **** less than KBB said that you would offer in their program.
If you want to do business with me, you are going to have to sweeten the deal a bunch.
Lastly, it will be titled in ***********, not *******, as previously stated so no title fee.

I believe you can see from this conversation that were have been very diligent in getting him the information he requested.  He never even tried to open the worksheet.  Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.  We do hope this clarifies this situation and does not reflect badly on us.
