This garage in question was paid to replace 1 ujoint the garage made me have to replace both ujoints on my driveshaft after removing the wrong ujoint first. After the job was completed. The vibration was still there. After about 2 weeks my driveshaft started making a noise. I took my truck to a local garage with the noise complaint. The garage inspected my truck, told me that the ujoints had been improperly installed and the ujoints were wrong. The garage then let me know that due to the ujoints being wrong, the parts had damaged my driveshaft. Therefore I had to purchase another driveshaft from the dealer because of the type of truck that I have. The total was $1500. So I had to get it ordered and it was then installed. Problem solved. The garage that fixed my truck is called grays service center in ******* al

******************** brought his vehicle in to have u joint replaced. He requested to have one replaced but after the mechanic had replaced one, he was given the cost to replace the other due to both normally are replaced at the same time due to wear and tear on both. He agreed. We matched up the u joints with his vehicle and actually ordered additional ones to ensure we had correct ones. Replacements of both was done. The mechanic did not report any difficulty replacing the u joints other than having a little problem removing one which ******************** had already said he was unable to remove and that was why he brought to a shop.  I don't understand installing a part wrong and being able to drive away and from the time he left us and had repairs done somewhere else, that seems odd to me. ******************** paid for the repairs and drove the truck away. Never heard anything from him regarding having problems with the truck until he showed back up at the shop requesting that we pay for additional repairs he had done at another shop. Had he brought the truck back to us we would have gladly worked with him to fix the situation. On our invoice it clearly states warranty work is to be done at our shop.
