I was charged $197 by White Label DIY despite having canceled my account months prior. The company acknowledged the error on May 12, 2025, and stated that a refund had been issued. However, I have not received the funds as of June 03, 2025.After requesting documentation to verify the refund (e.g., confirmation number, refund processor), the company refused to provide it and claimed the matter was out of their hands. My bank confirmed that no refund has been processed. This is unacceptable business behavior.Desired Outcome:I am requesting both of the following:Immediate proof of refund (date, processor, transaction ID); &Full refund of $197.Additionally, I want the company to be held accountable for billing without authorization and failing to follow up with proof when requested.

This charge was already refunded on the date we were made aware of the mistaken billing. The transaction was refunded on May 12th, 2025 with transaction ID ***********. No further "proof" of the refund can be provided outside of this information. While we are dissatisfied that this billing error occurred, unfortunately, there is not much more that can be done outside of issuing the transaction. Once processed and settled on our side, we do not control the movement of funds.

I am rejecting this response because: no refund has been received as of todays date.

While the business claims a refund was processed on May 12, ************************ ***********, no funds have been deposited into my account, and my bank has confirmed that no such transaction was received or is pending.

Additionally, the business has refused to provide any verifiable proof of refund beyond a transaction IDsuch as the refund processor used (e.g., Stripe, ******, etc.), confirmation of the bank or card issuer it was routed to, or documentation from their payment gateway that would verify successful issuance of the refund.

This issue cannot be shifted onto my financial institution without proper documentation. The burden of proof lies with the merchant to verify that the refund was executed correctly and delivered to the proper payment method. Their refusal to cooperate or provide traceable documentation raises further concern about the legitimacy of their claims.

Because this matter remains unresolved and the business continues to deflect responsibility without evidence, I have initiated a chargeback investigation with my financial institution and filed complaints with the ****. Legal counsel is also being considered.

    Sincerely,

    ******* ****
