On November 21 2023 my plumber called and told me he had completed everything except the ice maker spot. He said we should meet up so I could tell him the place I wanted the fridge for the ice maker to go and that he needed the money for the job. We met and told him I got $400 and will give him $175 when he finished. He went to the car and came back with a bill saying I owe him $3,775 that day and the job all together was $5,575. We never discussed me paying $***** for him to do the plumbing. On November 14 my friend asked him several times how much it would cost to do rough end plumbing. He said $575 many times. My friend repeated it back to him and I listened and said okay. He can do the job. My friend also explained to him that I purchase my material and we didn't need him to do that. Fast forward to November 21 the plumber claim that he told us $575 per fixture. Before he started 5 thousand never came out of his mouth. He never gave me a written quote or anything. It was all verbal. He never even mentioned fixtures. He didnt install any fixtures, which is sinks and toilets. He said his fixture meant making circles and inserting a pvc pipe. I told him if I wouldve heard ***** or seen it, I never would have agreed to him doing the job. We agreed it was a huge misunderstanding and miscommunication. I told him I would be generous and give him $2,500 since he claimed he spent $2000 on pvc pipes and glue. He said no to the offer. So we both walked away and he said he will involve the law.

First off, my friend *************************** never ever presented himself as a general contractor. ************ made that up.
************ did walk around the house and saw what we needed him to do so he couldve gave us a total price because thats what we asked for instead of saying $575 per fixture which we never heard the PER in that case. It wasnt that hard to say or write down 5 thousand something dollars. It would greatly saved us a lot of time because we wouldve turned his service down. I shook hands as saying hello and yes i want him to provide the service. I was not agreeing to pay $5,575 for service. I guess he took it as a sworn. I can see this is a huge misunderstanding due to bad communication. ************ is more than welcomed to undo the work that hes done for me or accept the money that I offered him.

My apologies but *********************** presented his self as a General Contractor we don't make up potential clients/customers false information we are a serious business. We are not able to undo what's already been done plumbing wise cant turn back time' If **************** is not willing to pay what we had agreed on, on our verbal agreement, I'm just going to take a loss and accept the ***** dollars to at least cover the cost of the plumbing supplies already used and installed in *******************************************. I made a mistake by trusting our verbal agreement since all parties shook hands on it, i guess verbal agreements are not honored anymore. I have learn my ****** since being new to the business world moving forward from now on will do written agreements that way this does not happen again. I will take the ***** dollars and be done with it. This is my last response i don't want to keep going back and forth.

    Sincerely, ***************************
