On 11/28/2023, Turner&Schoel made a service call to my house. Stated I had a bad evaporator coil and all 7 gallons of Freon had leaked out. Cost ******. They returned 12/8/2023 and replaced the evaporator coil ( covered by my warranty -was only 2 years old and has 10 year warranty). I had purchased my on Freon for ****** as T&S stated 7 gallons at 95$ per gallon so I saved 165 getting it from another reputable source. My bill was ******. For labor and a nitrogen bubble test. I felt they may have accidentally charged me for the coil possibly so I called twice and went in to talk to them lastly on 12/27/23. After the 2nd call, they reimbursed ****** from the original service call stating that should have been part of the total cost. I wonder if they possibly charged me for the coil accidentally and just will not reimburse me. I feel labor for 1 1/2 hours for ****** is in error. I asked for a breakdown of the bill so I could turn in to my homeowners but was told they dont break the bill down as it is all inclusive. I have tried to resolve this matter as I appreciate their work and promptness as well as they have been polite. They have a great reputation. However, something just seems amiss. At the least a breakdown of the bill should be forthcoming. Im not sure how labor cost ******. Can you help? This is very uncomfortable for me but I feel something is off. Thank you.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/02/2024

We responded to ********************* promptly on Tuesday morning 1/2/2024 by telephone. The breakdown of her charges was given to her verbally over the phone.

She also requested a breakdown be sent to her to turn into the insurance company. This will also be done this Tuesday morning 1/2/2024 by email. She does understand

now that she was not charged for the warranty coil. The charges only consisted of the diagnostic fee, shipping charge for warranty coil & the labor to replace the coil.

She is completely satisfied with the breakdown of charges. We are considering this complaint resolved completely.
