    My husband and I took our **** **** ******** ********* to Downtown Auto for repairs in ****** **** *** ** ******* ****. When we purchased our ****, we also purchased an extended warranty through our bank. In ****** ****, our extended warranty company paid $216.37 towards our repairs and in ******* 2022, they paid $653.57 towards our repairs. Fast forward, I'm eating lunch on ***** **, 2023 and receive a text message saying that a claim had been processed for our repairs. I immediately called my husband to see if he took the **** in without my knowledge. He said "no, the **** is in the garage." I then proceed to call our warranty company and asked them did they contact us in error since our **** is not in the shop. They then placed me on hold and forwarded me to another division, where they repeatedly asked me if our **** was at Downtown Auto. I advised no. While on the phone with the representative, he advised that Downtown Auto was on the phone and would I hold. I told him yes. He then comes back on the phone and says that the individual from Downtown Auto said his mistake. The representative then says to me "thank you so much for calling; we would never have known and would have paid the claim if you did not call us." My question is no two VIN numbers are the same and our name is in the system at Downtown Auto (see attached) so how can you make that mistake? It does not make sense to me or my husband and we will no longer be taking our **** to them.

    We apologize for any inconveinance, but I do not see any where in our system where this vehicle has been here since ******* of 2022. We have gone ahead and deleted the VIN as per your request.
