  HRS did some work for us on our home to repair damaged facia. The vetting process, estimates and initiation of work went smoothly. All work was completed as we agreed and the work quality was exceptional. Communication throughout the process from beginning to end was timely, accurate and effective. The crew and staff were polite and capable. We would definitely use them again should the need arise

  I can't say enough about the high level of service and th quality of the job I had done. It is so hard to find a company to come and do home repairs or upgrades any more let alone be reliable and prompt. Not to mention very reasonably priced.   This company is top notch and super professional from beginning through end. Our bonus room window had a leak, and nobody could figure out the cause and could not find Hardly any companies that would even come out and look at it. Art and his team were wonderful to work with. He called me back quickly after speaking to the office receptionist and walked through what I was seeing, and then I sent him photos, and he also put eyes on it to confirm and provided a fair price for the work. The crew were very professional, and cleaned up after themselves very well. *** even came out a second time when I thought the window was still leaking to take a look himself after the work was done. you dont find many companies like this anymore that bring the old school mentality of true customer satisfaction and word of mouth mean everything to a business and their reputation. Art and his team are very knowledgeable and he never tried to upsell me something or exemplify any Ability to do something they couldnt. These guys a A+ in my book, and Im a pretty handy guy, just couldnt get that high myself. Thanks guys for the great work. I highly recommend HRS!

  Im very pleased with the work that HRS did for me. They updated 2 bathrooms that included painting, tiling, plumbing and electrical, and painted the main bedroom. I also added some other items I needed done kind of at the last minute and they willingly added them and got them done. My Project Manager was very pleasant, detail oriented, available, and kept the project on track. The only negative was that communication with some of the subcontractors was difficult because they didnt speak English. But we worked through it and they did a great job.

  I was very pleased with their timely work. They showed up to do the work i needed done.I was well pleased with their professional work. I i was afraid that when i decided to do a larger project it would bother them but no they can do any type work including complete home renovation.   My experience with HRS was nothing short of excellent. They brought together 3 different contractors to repair damage done in a recent storm. They showed up on time and finished the job in less than 2 days. Their ******* came by several times to check on progress and save for some trash left that they had to come back and get, there were no problems. I would re-hire them again - no questions asked!

  I read **************** review and other reviews before deciding to do business with this company. Now, I understand ******* review completely! There is no oversight of the workers, including subcontractors, used. If you dont ask questions, the work may not be completed as discussed and agreed upon. Also, be sure to ask detailed questions about your estimate. There appears to be a lack of integrity. I gave 3 stars only because the work was eventually completed as agreed upon.

  Home Repair Service is not a member of BBB because the only thing important to them is money. If you are thinking about possibly doing business with them be very careful and ask for references. Their sales reps work on a commission basis (**%) and once you agree to have a project done you cannot change anything. Their is no oversite of the workers so if you don't stay on top of the project no one else will. I signed up for a bathroom remodel and I was told all workers were bonded and insured but HRS subbed the entire project out to a ******* crew with no qualifications. Because the work did not take near as long as project the hourly rate ended up being between $** and ** dollars per hour. Eight days into the project I asked to renegotiate the price but they refused to talk about it and they never talked to me again for 2 months. I sent them a check that I thought was generous for the completed work a month into the project and told them that was my final payment. They did not respond for a month but when they did they threatened me with a lien on my house. I talked to the owner for a hour on the phone and the customer to him is nothing but money. I got taken to the cleaners by these folks so be very careful if you deal with them.

  Please allow me to set the record straight. We met with Mr ** and his wife to discuss his bath remodel project. They told us what they would like to have done and we established a budget for the project. We all agreed to work together on the project. After we had spent over 80% of the budget, Mr ** wanted a major discount on his project because we just sent a bunch of BLANKS to his house. It was clear that he did not like the fact that our staff is diverse and that people of color were sent to his jobsite. He mentioned several times that our white boys were doing a great job but the others where unqualified BLANKS. We were disgusted and refused to discount over this reasoning. We stopped communicating as much because we were upset with Mr ** outdated, hateful attitude but pressed on with the work to finish what we started. During the course of the project, we saw Mr ** hire a lawn care provider for the day and a tile installer. The lawn care provider gave him a small invoice for a hard day's work and Mr ** gave the man less than twenty five percent of his invoice and said Have a nice day. The tile installer was written a check and as soon as he left, Mr ** canceled the check. When we received Mr ** intent letter with his final payment, we knew we were in for the same fate so we reached out to our legal team to serve a lien intent letter. If you are anything like Mr ** and you do not want people of African or South American descent at your house, please, please do not call Home Repair Service. We will find you disgusting too. For anyone who is nothing like Mr ** and worried about the quality of our work, Id love to share the project pictures with you. We turned out a great looking bathroom through a ridiculous situation.

  All of what is written as a comment on my initial review is a lie. This company is very dishonest. I am a retired Naval aviator who served in this capacity for 23 years I retired as an O-5 (Commander). I worked on three different Flag Officer Staff's when not in a flying billet. I worked with personnel of every race, color and creed and had no issues with anyone. So any reference racism on my part is simply not true. What estimator did was was way over price my job and when I realized what was happening I ask to renegotiate the price but the estimator said they did not do that. I told him that he was not being reasonable but after he never came back to the job nor did he ever attempt to contact me. The only time he ever showed up was when he wanted a check. I later found out he worked on a commission basis which explains his unwillingness to renegotiate our contract. I asked the head of the ************ who did my project what this should cost and the price he quoted me was $8000.00 less than I paid so I believe I had a valid complaint about the cost. All of the info about a lawn guy getting only 25% of his invoice is a complete fabrication on his part. I hired one of the workers to trim a couple of ****** trees and he worked for 3 hours and I paid $70.00 cash. There was no invoice involved. I hired one of his guys to install some who he fired for doing my job. I gave the installer a check for his work but when he took to his bank the said they could not cash it for some technical reason so he notified me and then had him come by and I paid him in cash. When I sent the company a check for what I considered reasonable for the hours worked on my project I expected the company to call me and negotiate but instead they informed me they were going to put a lien on my house. What I should have done was report them to the city of Pelham for doing work without a license. Just a very dishonest and greedy company. I am especially concern with their false use of race as an issue in this project. Never once did it come up or did I complain about it. What I did say was they subbed the work out to an unlicensed crew. It had nothing to do with race. HRS knew the were going to do this and they could pay less while pocketing more profit. Be very careful if you have any dealings with this company.
