  I have to WARN everybody away from Jons Tree Service!Jons Tree Service was coming to do work at a neighbors house so we coordinated for them to remove our tree as well. The company was licensed, bonded and insured so we felt good about using them. *** contacted us and we set a date and price.A few days after the tree was removed we found a sprinkler pipe had been severed from where the tree was removed. I was not worried, as I knew he was licensed, insured and bonded. Boy was I wrong!I contacted *** and explained the situation and sent him a pic. His response shocked me. He saidAt $400 for the tree I cant handle the sprinkler line, its just a risk that happens when removing a tree with roots everywhereTheres nothing I can do about lines that are not more than 2 inches deepAt the 850 minimum, I would be there tomorrow to fix the linePVC is a easy five minute fixI was dumbfounded! I told him I had recently had back and shoulder surgery and was not able to fix the system and would now need to hire somebody to fix an issue he created. He begrudgingly said he would come on Saturday and do the 5-minute fix, which I declined given his dismissive attitude. He continued to make excuses wnd made more shocking statementsNo need to be an ***, I told u I would handle it, its literally a 5 min repairU got a tree basically for free *** then expect me to fix a sprinkler line for free Not my fault your builder didnt do anything correctly and put the tree too shallow and u end up with roots over the entire yard and then the sprinklers Are put too shallow, none of that is my fault, I only tried to rectify the problem by removing the tree *** rootsGet your builder to fix the line, its his fault it got hitMy takeaway from this experience is two fold1) dont trust licensed, bonded and insured and 2) if you EVER deal with or hire **** Tree Service buyer beware and set your expectations very low!

  I prefer giving a glowing report, but *** is very unkind to his most faithful employees. *********************, my friend, was on a job for him and was electrocuted and almost died. Long hospitalization and more than a few surgeries.Not once did **** go see him or check on him just wanted to know when he would be back at work!Im now unable to reach **** and would appreciate any help you would give to help find him.

  What happened to **** was tragic yes but I checked on him multiple times, this review is absurd and anyone reading it should understand that

  Paid them to take a tree down and place limbs in a pile instead they pulled the complete tree down destroyed several trees in the process cut another tree down to make it easier left it lay also very unhappy would never use them again

  This tree was extremely dead, rotten, had a large cavity at the base and was leaning over a building that I did not want to damage and have an insurance claim. We were hired to get the tree on the ground only, no clean up, no hauling, I would be happy to post a picture of the invoice for Mr ****** We made the decision that the safest way to cut this tree was to drop it whole in the ***** and so thats we we did My ***** called me and was unhappy because we dropped it whole instead of piecing it down and I explained to him that we made the decision that this was the safest way to cut this tree I even called him and left a message offering to bring a bobcat over and help him clean it up in my spare off time but he never bothered to call me back so I left it alone This negative review is unwarranted and unnecessary I did everything possible as a company to make the situation right

  Always heard good things about ***'s Tree Service and have repeatedly RECOMMENDED THEM HIGHLY!. Have seen them do some amazing work in the trees around our office in Alabaster and have interacted with them on a casual basis. Didn't see any of the issues related in the other review. Employees seemed knowledgeable and hard working. As an employer myself, not every employee is a happy camper or contributes in a meaningful way. Not only would I consider them highly if I were in the market for tree service but I HAVE RECOMMENDED them to my neighbor in the ****** area to have two large pine trees removed from their backyard that joins unobstructed with my backyard.

  ***'s tree service pays there employees poorly. so in return the employees do not care if they do a good job or not.*** shorts his employees hours and screams in there faces daily.I've seen yards destroyed with bobcats and equipment.***'s tree service has had employees die due to insufficient equipment that is still used today.***'s tree service equipment has destroyed a few men's lives due to lose of human body parts.this equipment is still to this day being used and has not been corrected of its faults.do you want this company to do work for you, and have death or near death experiences to happen on your property?
