Joseph J******, owner of FixItDoc, came to my home to install a dish washer with ***** Installations, for ******. While installing, he said he could repair my lower oven. He came back on **** *** 2022 and said he needed $429.01 to purchase the part, for which I have a copy of the invoice. He came back on ******* **, 2022 to install the oven part, unsuccessfully. He said it would cost approx $5,000 to replace my double oven with a new one so he then asked for $250 more to order a new part, for which I have 2nd invoice of payment. He has never returned to repair and I never was refunded the $429.01 for initial part nor was the 2nd part used for repairing oven. I called him repeatedly, left messages, text him to come install. On ***** **** 2023, he text saying he would arrive at noon to install but never showed up. On ***** ****, he text that his ******* ****** ** **** causing delay but that he would reschedule soon to repair. I even spoke with his wife and she said he had the part at his house but couldn't find it and once he found it, she would call me back and set up time to install. I haven't heard from him since. I want a refund so I can get my oven repaired. I am very disappointed because this young man drives a business van with his logo on it, he carries business cards and he is affiliated with ***** Installation; therefore, I considered him a professional business man, honest in his word. I'm asking for this refund in order to properly repair my oven and restore my confidence in Mr. J******. I am sending this from my work email and therefore cannot upload my receipts for both payments. I can upload from my home computer along with all the text message exchanges between us, if necessary, should this go to court, which I am prepared to file with my lawyer, should this not get resolved thru the BBB.
