1 starThis week I was physically threatened on my own property by an employee of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing owned by Breck S*****. The employee repeatedly said he wanted me to come outside so he could “beat” me. There is a witness, another employee. Despite reaching the owner for help and resolution, I received no response or support other than being told it was an HR matter, end of discussion.
I have been advised that there is nothing legally I can do. But in civilized society, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I believe that businesses must take responsibility for the actions of their employees while performing duties of their employment.
Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is an Authority Brands company. They have not been available to speak with me after several voicemails and attempts to reach Holly B**** in their customer service department.Review fromSusan H

3 starsThey came out right away when our basement flooded. They installed a sump pump and repaired a portion of the footing drain by digging down into the ground and replacing part of the pipe. The work was fine except the sump pump is not set into the basement floor. It’s a little above the floor. We should not have been charged $5000 for a sump pump that wasn’t installed to the correct depth. Currently, any water on the floor can’t flow back into it as it is raised up and not flush. Also price was VERY high. It feels like we were taken advantage of. We’ve gotten quotes from other companies to finish the drain work outside and learned that Ben Franklin charged us more than double what others charge. This means we’ve already overpayed by $6000. Ben Franklin quoted us $9000 to finish the drain work when the new quotes are coming in at $3000.Review fromTom L

5 starsI had a small leak in one of my toilets, and the plumbing company I've used in the past said they couldn't get to it until after the holidays. Based upon BBB's rating and acreditation, I called BF Plumbing and they responded the next business day. What we initially thought was a small bolt or gasket leak turned out to be a cracked tank, so we had to replace the entire toilet. The lead technician, Seth Chambers, and his assistant in training did an excellent job. They were both professional and personable, and it was a pleasure having them in my home. While the cost was considerably more than I had initially anticipated, I'm very pleased with their responsiveness and quality of work. I will contact them and request Mr. Chambers for all future needs.Review fromClaudia W

5 starsThe technician was Michael B*******. He was not listed on the list of technician on this site for me to click on and I did want to give him credit. He was very willing to help and went beyond. I appreciate the promptness of getting my repair finished asap.

5 starsCody of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, Columbus, GA, did an outstanding job. As I am immune compromised he so kindly wore a mask the entire time he was here. He expertly soldered a bathtub faucet pipe as the old one was too short after a retiling of the bathroom. He always knows just what is needed. A man you can trust. Thank you so very much.
