      We purchased a hydraulic baler in July of 2022. We received ********* in August of the same year. We purchased ********* for $16,356.00 In April of 2023 ********* started to leak hydraulic fluid. We called for service and expected the problem to be fixed by the two year parts warranty. Instead, we were told we misused ********* and it would not be covered. The service tech from the locale dealer we purchased ********* from told us the cylinder had a manufacturing defect and needed to be replaced. We have not been able to reach an agreement on who will bear the cost of this. We KNOW if should be covered under the manufacture warranty.

      We were made aware of the damage to the cylinder by the Service Agent with **************************.  We asked for photos of the damage which were provided.  The photos showed a ***** on the side of the cylinder rod (photo included),  The **** is very consistent with ****s caused by cylinder rods being struck by a metal object.  The nature of this type if rod damage is that it causes immediate catastrophic damage to the seals in the gland of the cylinder.  As the customer mentions, ********* was purchased in July of 2022.  Our experience testifies that rod damage of this nature would cause leaking within a few hours of operation - NOT after months of operation.  This is clearly damage that happened at the customers location well after purchase.  Our warranty clearly states that we "warrant our equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use..."  It does not cover damage occurring months after installation.

      I am rejecting this response because: I think your "Experience" is severely lacking, because what you have experienced in the past is not what happened!!?! 

      Let me ask you, why have the 2 other professionals with WAY more "experience" than you (over 60 years combined) both say that this is a manufacturer defect and not something hitting it as you claim? You should be ashamed of how you are handling this! And I will not let this rest. I will see you in court if a better resolution is not given. Giving me the part for your cost, making me pay for shipping and making me pay for installation is not a resolution - I paid $17K for your product and now, after less than 8 months I have to spend another $5K to fix your defective prodoct.

      To anyone reading this......STAY AWAY. Before they ever saw pictures of the damage the rep they sent out said they won't pay for the warranty, which tells me, their warranty is completely worthless (and in my case it was - no help whatsoever) I will update the lawsuit when there is a resolution.

      I will only reiterate my original statement - we warranty this type of product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the stated time.  Not damage that has come to light months after it was installed and operated by the end user.  We have attempted to be as accommodating as we reasonably can in this matter.  As a show of goodwill, we sold a replacement part for the damaged part at a deeply discounted rate. But, we cannot and will not warranty damage that occurs after installation.

      I am rejecting this response because: *********** that installed the discounted part that you should of paid for and the $1000 to have it installed again reiterated that there was NO POSSIBLE way for us to damage the part being 14' in the air. The also reiterated that it was MANUFACTING DEFECT. And as such you should of replaced it for free. BUYERS BEWARE......NEVER BUY A PRODUCT FROM A C*** COMPANY THAT WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THE WARRANTY!!  You have been warned.
