I place my car at this Auto repair shop after looking the on ****** this business needs to be removed from ****** its a local own business I went 8 months with my car with a medical condition that resulted in a ER Vist I was charge $3000 and Im seeking legal help due to my car still being messed up to the point of not being able to drive the car the reputation of this business is horrible $3000 dollars my car is still not fix the owner is well connected with the local police and judges people are being con out of there hard earn money when I called they hung up after having my car 8 months and the car not being fix I call directly after picking the car up to report that the car wasnt fixed they hung up the phone after taking $3000 I need legal help to have my money return to fix my car I was sucking suffering with blood pressure heart issues coming from another state my mother pass this man has my car 8 month Im sick stuck in another county the lady sitting at the counter was evil and racist she make you walk 2 miles to a family dollar for $10 when she could have swipe the card for paymentBusiness Response

The secretary told the lady the bill she owed on the car- rounded up so basically remember how much it was. So she was told how much it was. She was how much bill was before she was to pick it up. And the secretary opened up the dispute today 6/23/25. This was the 1st she or the service manager were aware there was a problem with her car after she picked it up. And if she had a problem with the car why did she not drive it back to Arnolds and let them check it out? So 8 months (we did not have that img) and $3000? (When bill was $2193.50). Basically we had the car ready for pick up but Arnolds was having to wait on the lady to pay the final bill and pick her car up. So this dispute should be taken off Arnolds Auto Repair. We didn't have it as long as stated and the bill was $2193.50. Where did she come up with $3000?
We towed vehicle into shop 2/10/25 and she picked up the vehicle on 5/30/25 when she paid finally amount owed. Which Arnolds had vehicle ready before she picked it up then. Which is almost 4 months. She is saying 8 months whish is not true. We towed the Infiniti to Arnolds 2/10/25. We checked it out got the lady a estimate up,. Told her it needed rear end and drive shaft, The drivers side rear had body damage. She was wanting to know if we fix that, The service manager told her we don't do body work. So after we get ger estimate up service manager told her the price. She gave ok to fix it. So she would come and do payments on bill while being fixed, which was fine. And if you will notice she notice she paid 3/21/25 and didn't pay final payment till 5/31/25 so she didn't pay on bill for months. We had finished up the job and it set in the back lot waiting on her to pay and pick up. Also the secretary even took the key. And unlocked vehicle one day where he lady could get some stuff out of it.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 23470658, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
My car has the same issue it’s not fix it will not drive I was told this happen another mechanic has looked at it the problem wasn’t fix

Basically I need a lawyer this entire place is crazy I his man understand nothing at all the people here think all the black people are crack heads I was trying to go back to Huntsville Al to see a heart specialist I need to see a Doctor it’s took this man 8 months I’m sivk walking around this town this man is mental health crazy when you talk to him he understands nothing I’m a city person I came m mother pass I need a lawyer go that 59 years old she died messing with the place thats my issue I explained it to him I told him his Reputation is horrible here people were asking me why did you put your car there I said I didn’t know he rent homes they say he does that to people take their money of course you’ll be a millionaire when you’re taking money from all the people and can’t do the work I’m very angry this man is crazy I was working in Hampton cove found it on google a nightmare. We received this letter saying resolution is satisfactory to *******. Then got another letter dated July 3rd asking company to return her money. When she picked the car up from Arnolds 5/30/25 (which the car was ready a while before she came and got it) she drove off. If she had issue with it why didn't she brin car back to shop. Actually if you will look at receipt the warranty on the parts was only 30 days. Which she didn't pick up the vehicle till 5/30/25. But if she brought it back right after had picked up we could of looked at it. But never seen her. So we are not gonna keep going back and forth on this. She never came back- so no refund on our part. So this needs to be closed.

My name is ************************* I live at ************ ********** al and I am filing a complaint against *******#**;s Auto repair for the repossession of my **************************** color original purchase price as listed on bill of sale and vehicle registration is ***** dollars the vehicle ***** blue books at **** to ********************************************************************************************* receiving it I had to put an alternator and power stirring pump on it after driving it for 2 months I had informed them I was going to be late with my payment for the month of September which was due on September 31st on October 13th they repossessed the vehicle as I was getting ready to head out the door to make the payment and I informed ****** who came to get the truck of this he still took it and they are now saying I have 10 days from the 13th to pay ****** dollars if I want the vehicle back or they will put it back up for sale on there lot while also trying to file a claim on the truck for a scratch and small dent on the drives fender that happened while I had the truck and could not afford the deductible to file the claim myself and I have lost 2 days of work over 10 hours at 15 a hour so lost 200 dollars.Business Response

10-26-2023 **** purchased the Ranger o 6-14-2023. Vehicle price $7500. She paid $600 down. Interest added $3600, for a grand total of $10,500.00
*** was told that total of the vehicle the day she signed the paperwork. She was given a copy of the agreement. Her 1st payment she was late and had to pay a late fee. Also the 2nd payment she was late and had to pay a late fee. So the 3rd payment wasn't paid on time, she had text the secretary at Arnolds on 10-4-2023 that she would drop off full amount on 7th night which was 10-10-2023, she never did. Never heard from her so on 10-13-2023 it was repossessed due t being behind.
When vehicle was repossessed there was damage o drivers side so the secretary at Arnolds called her insurance company, she hadn't started a claim, so the secretary started a claim on it.
She wasn't good on making her payments. The secretary has multiple text where she text **** about her payments and she damaged the vehicle while she had it and didn't turn in to the insurance company.
Her balance with repo fee was $10,120.00. She was told she would need to pay in full and she had 10 days from the repo date. She was always late from the beginning on her payments plus she was given options to pay full balance if she wanted the vehicle back. I feel this claim should be removed from the BBB. I don't owe **** anything, she damaged the vehicle .

I am rejecting this response because: ******** did not even attempt to get the payment from me and new I was going to be late with payment I did not give a exact date that I was going to make the payment and it wasn't even a week past due I need the truck back or my money back also ******** breached the peace upon repossion by damning I give them the key knocking on my residents door and by making me remove my belongings from the truck knowing good an well he had no intention of letting me get the truck back he did not give the legally required time for me to get the vehicle back and is breaking the law by demanding full payment for return of the truck if he doesn't agree to one of the options I will *** he has a history of being a ***** and reposing vehicles even if they are paid up on payments I have witness of this and of him being a slum lord with his rental properties and also he breached the peace by taking the vehicle illegally when I told him to leave i was coming to make the payment by law if i am present and tell him jot to take the vehicle he can not without breaching the peace which is illegal i am trying to be peaceful but if he wants to go to court we can and i will have his business licsense revocked for being a ***** and scammer
