In May 2024 we hired *** to install a screened patio on our back porch. The roof of this patio measures roughly 600sqft and includes 2 downspouts for run off. I also had 2 fan beams installed for future electrical. Beginning in June 2024 I communicated that my patio roof was leaking and needing to be looked at. They had their employees come look at the issue and caulk the rivet screws. The issue continued into the rainy season and had them come out again. Between then and now I've had phone and text conversations trying to get this resolved along with pictures and videos of the leaking. I did knick a small porting on the right side of the roof with my chainsaw teeth and their employee caulked it but this is not a contributing factor for 600sqft of roof to leak both before and after the knick. I was finally informed almost a year later that they will no longer warranty my patio and would charge me if I need further assistance. I paid around $13000 for a patio that leaks.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We take pride in standing behind our work and addressing customer issues with integrity and professionalism.
This particular patio cover was installed in May 2024. Shortly after installation, there was an issue with the flashing, which we promptly returned to correct at no additional charge.
Since then, we have made several trips to the propertyagain, at no chargeto evaluate concerns related to water leaks. During each visit, we found that the gutter system was clogged with debris, preventing proper drainage. We advised the homeowner on multiple occasions that keeping the gutters clean is essential to the function and longevity of the patio cover.
To help resolve the ongoing issue, we referred a reputable tree service to remove overhanging branches and offered several long-term solutions, including routine gutter maintenance packages and gutter guard installation. The homeowner declined these services, opting to maintain the gutters personally. Unfortunately, each time we returned, the gutters remained clogged.
In August 2024, we explained that persistent blockage could cause water to back up, potentially leading to damage such as panel collapse if not addressed. We also became aware that tree trimming had been performed by the homeowner, which accidentally caused damage to the panels. Although this voided the warranty, we still returned and sealed the affected areas as a courtesy.
We remain committed to providing quality service and stand by the work performed. We have done our best to support and educate the homeowner throughout this process, and we are still happy to discuss further preventative options if desired.

I am rejecting this response because:

As stated by **** the gutters being clogged is causing the roof to leak through the seams including the parts near the original roof. I will clean them again and note the after effects from rain. **** mentioned installing a 3rd down spout which I'm open too; however the issue I'm wanting resolved if it continues to leak after cleaning and rain is to have it fixed. I've noted them coming out several times to fix the issue and referring a company to do tree work however trees should not be a concern for leaking roof. If the clean gutters do not solve the issue then I want to work on what will. But I want a clear explanation as to how water can pile up over the panels and leak into my patio from the top of the roof even prior to the tree trimming incident when the down spouts currently installed are functioning properly and removing water even with debris in the gutter. At no point am I ungrateful for them coming out, but a clear resolution is all I ask for. If you require evidence of cleared gutters I will do so and after effects from rain.

    Sincerely,
