The business improperly advertised a Semi truck and trailer. The truck was advertised to be available on property to be view prior to the close of auction. This truck and trailer were not on the lot nor available to be inspected. Come to find out it has not been on the property thought out the listing. Talked to ******************* after driving 1 hour, and waited for 30 min to determine that I would not be able to view the Semi or trailer. ***** expressed that he had shown the truck and trailer to other interested parties. He however offered me no opportunity to view or inspect the listing. This truck should be available to be inspected before close of business day, the days leading up to the auction, and the day of the auction to give an equal opportunity to inquire. I would state that it is fraud and false advertisement to offer an asset for sell that is expressed to be available for inspection, but is not. You must give each interested party the fair/ reasonable opportunity ( with in the construct of the listing) to view a listing if you offer that availability to other purchasers or interested parties. Their listing as follows:ONLINE BIDDING ONLY AUCTION **** PETERBILT SLEEPER WITH **** LOWBOY TRAILER INSPECT AT FOWLER AUCTION ******************************************* Online Bidding Closes Monday, December 19th 7 PM This semi-trailer combo with comfortable cabin is ready to hit the road. For more information, please contact ******************* at (256) - You should remove the listing and re list it when each interested party, who wishes to inspect, with in normal business hours had been provided the proper opportunity.

The auction date was set as per the consignor's requests. The ground was too wet to move the semi truck, therefore the relocation was delayed. The semi truck could have been viewed 30 minutes upon the interested parties departure from our office but he chose not to stay to view. The interested party has never registered to bid with our company. As a rep of Fowler Auction, we took another interested party to view at the consignor's location but the consignor did not appreciate others on his property therefore no further visits were made.
