    I ordered slag for my driveway from this business Terry Equipment in *******. After choosing the type I wanted and getting a quote for it, they delivered and dumped the wrong material. I understand mistakes happen. But after explaining the issue to the owner, he accused me of wanting free gravel. He cussed and offered to come out and spread the wrong material. I explained to him that wasn't an option with my situation and he offered no other solution or refund. Simply wrong and I'm speechless. The company office simply had a miscommunication with their dispatch. I understand mistakes happen, however the consumer should not be liable for mistakes made by the company. The owner offered no solution that was reasonable or sensible.

    Responding to the complaint made by ********************, there have been several false accusations made. ******************** called our office in ******* on 7/29 and told our receptionist the following - "He needs 2 loads of slag for his driveway, not sure what it's called, just driveway slag." The receptionist then spoke with dispatch and he agreed that the slag requested for driveways is crusher run slag. We have been in the industry of aggregate/dirt/sand for over 40 years and this is what we recommend  to all customers for driveways. We completed the delivery on 7/31/24 where we brought out 2 separate truck loads of slag. ******************** was present at time of delivery and dumping of both trucks. If there was an issue with the material he could have refused the delivery. He did not say a word about it. He waited until after both trucks had left the premises to decide he wanted a different product. He has continuously harassed/slandered us on social media & ******* He also came into our office and requested a refund. The owner met with him in the front lobby to let him know we cant refund a delivery, but would come at no cost and spread the material for him. ******************** refused to accept the offer and became irritated and loud. He was asked to leave the premises. There was no cussing. We have security footage of the encounter. If ******************** does not cease the harassment/slander & remove all slander from social media and ****** we will be taking legal action.
