Had one of the worst experiences at a movie theater that I can recall. Basically, I paid full price for a movie, but did not get to see ten minutes of the movie (a part that was crucial to the plot) due to a storm. A worker rushed in to clear the theater because tornado sirens were going off and said, “We will restart the movie once we get the all clear.” A woman in charge told us we could go back in but informed us that she was not going to restart the movie. Afterwards, I asked if we would be compensated, and they said, “No, the regional manager said that only ten minutes was missed.” After telling them that they lost my business for good, they just shrugged. I will never be returning to that theater again.

Tell me why businesses are heartless? My family and I went to Cabot Movie Theater today for my daughter's birthday. We always buy the bucket and have never had an issue in the past bringing in the previous year's bucket to split up the current bucket between the 3 of us. My husband is undergoing chemo so we are trying to limit things passing multiple hands more than ever but we were told that bringing in the previous year's bucket is the same as bringing in an outside container and is not allowed. So I asked if they would be able to supply me with an empty container that we could use to pour some of our popcorn in for him and was told that they can't do that either. When did we become so heartless that we can provide our customers with a 25¢ bag for free to help them out and avoid additional exposure. And while yes, my husband could stay at home and not enjoy the movie but who doesn't want to celebrate their only daughter's birthday? We did stay to watch today's movie as that was the plan but I will not be back. I'll drive to Conway or Little Rock.
