    Just like the others. Went to a presentation and promised a "free" cruise, we just pay taxes, port fees. There are only a few months that I can cruise so we found one we can go. I called only to be told that the inside state room is $1,600 for 2 of us or balcony is $2,300. I told her I was confused that this was supposed to be a free cruise. She said, to get the free one is a super basic state room with a bunk bed and you can't go on the dates you want because they are limited and can't go to an "exotic" destination. So there are only 2 for 2024, either we fly out to California from Florida (we pay for travel) or go out of Miami which is smack dab in the middle when I cannot go. Only 2 for the entire year?!?!?
    So at the end, it was a total waste of our time driving 2 hours to go to this presentation. By the way, their packages for vacation is a total scam too.

    We are sorry for the negative experience you had booking your certificate. The certificate is for an entry level cabin and the dates are based on availability. The certificate does also state peak times are limited. The information reviewed indicated the date requested was in July which is a high peak time. We are more than happy to find a sailing for you however your dates may need to be flexible to include off peak times and various port options.

    I wouldn’t never recommend this company to anybody. After receiving a certificate for a free cruise they proceeded to tell me the dates I selected were not available and that I had to get in touch with carnival to see if they offered any other cruises and they could apply the certificate to the booking. So in February I found one but I could never get through to Vacation Tours with the phone number they provided and today I was finally got thru to an agent and they told me I couldn’t use it for the cruise I booked with Carnival and it was to late to book anything through them. They were not helpful back in Oct when I called and they gave me false information about the certificate and they wouldn’t provide clear instructions on when the certificate could be used. They were very rude on the phone when they were the one not providing information needed or assisting with booking.
    If anybody asked me to attend a timeshare with company again they can just forget it after this experience.

    We are sorry you feel your experience was negative.  Your certificate does state cruises are based on availability.   Your account shows you received your certificate in September of 2021 however there is no record of speaking with you prior to October 2022.  At that time your certificate had already lost 12 months of availability.  We did offer a sailing for February 2022 that you declined.  We do suggest sometimes customers visit Carnival's website for examples of sailings or for port suggestions, etc.  At no time would we ever suggest you book direct with Carnival.  They would not have access to any of the promotions offered with your certificate.  We are sorry for any misunderstanding.  Speaking with you in February we did indicate your certificate was about to expire.  After trying to explain, we did abort the call once profanity was used.  Again, we are truly sorry for your experience.
