To be licensed contractor you expect quality work and trust the job would be completed and done correctly. Not so with these contractors our attic was left exposed which made us think we would need the work inspected. Upon inspection they found several areas that the work was done incorrectly and to add we were told we would have leaks on our roof and wood rot in several areas because of exposure. We contacted Russell Blair Construction and they said they would send the same contractor out to address some of our concerns. Would you want the same contractor doing the work for your home that didn’t do it right the first time? We have a very nice home and now we have a mess that will need addressed or we will have much bigger problems later down the road. I’m going continue pursuing this issue until our money is returned or Blair Construction sends a proper crew to fix all of the things pointed out by the inspection.

We at Blair Construction have never had an issue with a homeowner. You can ask any other client. This homeowner got exactly what was on the contract. The Contractor spoke with both homeowners multiple times to verify everything that was going to be done. The office typed up the contract and submitted to the homeowners who signed the contract. The husband apologized to contractor for the way his wife was acting and homeowners wife even spoke with subcontractor who performed the job and informed him that his work was perfect. Blair construction offered to send contractor back over to close the holes under overhang that homeowner knew would be there. They DID NOT request for finish work UNTIL after contractor met with them again after job was almost complete. Contractor offered to get them a material list for the metal and homeowner chose not to. Homeowner also stated his wife complained about all work performed by electrician and he stated he wishes he wouldn’t have done any work at all because she was unhappy. Once they were unhappy and we were going to send the subcontractor back out, whether the same one or different, does not matter, THE HOMEOWNERS REFUSED. Always remember there is 2 sides to every story.
