    We had a storm about a year ago and I called ***** to help with the tree clean up. He had done a good job for me before. While he was here, I asked him to add the cost to trim one limb off the maple tree in the back yard and the cost to grind the stump in the front yard to the cleanup amount and I paid the full amount. ***** has never come back to finish what I paid him for. I've called him LOTS of times and he promises that he will come by but he has failed to meet all of his promises. I called him this past Saturday and he promised AGAIN that he would be here - this time the promise was for today (9-19-2022). I called him a few times today to see if he was still planning to come by and he did not answer. When he finally called me he got smart with me like it's my fault. He promises and promises then fails and fails. He has not lived up to his promises for months and I'm tired of his excuses! He took my money and has not finished the job after MANY calls and MANY promises by him.

    I did the job that I was supposed to do.. He asked me to come back and grind a stump.. when I tried to do it.. he was unavailable.. then he would get drunk and call me.. Saying all kinds of things.. so I just told him he couldn't talk to me that way.. if he feels I owe him money.. im willing to pay him 100 dollars for the stump.. only reason I'm willing to do that.. is because I don't want to do the job.. nor do I want to be around him...

     Better Business Bureau:

    Not sure why ***** says I wasn’t available.  I don’t remember him ever calling to set a time.  I’m retired, have lived here full time about a year now, nearly always available, and I’ve been asking him!  Actually, ***** told me initially that he was not available because his grinder was broken and that was understandable.
    I could cover the other excuses but I’m tired of excuses.  This has dragged on I guess for a year and the stump is still there.
    I appreciate and will accept *****’s offer of $100 to bring some closure to this matter. 

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
