    I have been trying to cancel my Planet fitness for months . I moved from Arkansas to Texas . My initial plan was to just transfer so when I went to my home club which is in Jacksonville , Ar I asked could I transfer clubs , they told me I would have to do it with the location I was transferring to . When I got back home to Texas I went to the nearest planet fitness and they said it would have to be with my home location. So I called my home location and received no answer . At that point I was fed up and decided to just cancel . Online it says I have to email so I did , I got an automated generated letter saying to reach out to your home gym . The next time I went back to Arkansas I went there and after me showing them what had been sent to me , they said I would need to email the same people to get my membership canceled . I did that again and got the same generated email . In the process of all of this , I’m still being charged . Today was the last straw , they tried to pull money out of my account AGAIN. I called billing , and they told me they are a 3rd party and couldn’t do anything , when I ask to speak to a manager , they called the District Manager and told me I would have to send in a certified letter stating I wanted to cancel . My contract is over . I am not taking time out of my day to mail off a certified letter , and it could take weeks even months for them to receive it , and in the mean time I am still being charged I want my account CANCELLED!! And very penny back since my first attempt of cancelling end December / January
