    I work in physical therapy at a hospital, and we have the Spirit XBR95 bike that we use for therapy patients. The bike itself is fine, but the issue is getting parts. We waited a year just to replace the stickers on the handles that change the resistance. Then we are still waiting 1.5-2 years to replace the hydrolic piston that reclines the seat, which is a much more important part because our seat has been stuck at 90 degrees, making it uncomfortable for some of our patients who need to recline more. On top of that, the customer service has been below par on my three interactions with the Spirit agents, and one agent was just rude. After the part broke 1.5-2 years ago, the original agent said the part was on back order, and they’ll email us when the part comes. I called again last year because still no email, and they tell me it’s still on back order and will email us. I call on 3/7/24 because still no email, and they say the part is still on back order. It wasn’t until I told the agent how long I have been waiting that they investigated a little harder and discovered that there are six or seven parts available. The agent then started to inquire about shipping information, so I tried to tell them our information is already on file so we could make this quicker and also purchase through the hospital, but before I could finish, they said with attitude, “That’s not how this works”. So just to get through this without an argument, my boss paid on her own credit card instead of through our hospital. This agent was also just rude through the whole call, even when it came down to identifying the part via serial/part number because of miscommunication. I don’t recall the agent’s name, but it’s wild to me that they are in customer service. This person made me angry enough to come here and file a complaint. Otherwise, I would’ve let this go if they were nice. We don’t plan to use their business for new products in the future.

    i bought spirit mt bidirectional. you hit the reverse key and the belt flies off to side and ruins whole machine and you. i have contacted and attorney and filed lawsuit since they would not replace machine nor address serious injuries. i hit my head. they make this for gait training for patients who have MS for crying out loud! when i emailed they said they knew about the problem!!!! if you have been injured, pls contact me to form a class action.i was put off and put off for years. i bought another and same thing happened!!!

    100 days have passed and they still do not have a motor for my treadmill. They promised me a lifetime warranty on parts but all I'm getting is the run around that parts are on back order from Taiwan. DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM SPIRIT FITNESS.

    The ship carrying the needed motor has arrived in LA and should be here within a week to 10 days. Once the part arrives, we will ship immediately.

    Very bad, sleazy company. I bought a treadmill made by Spirit Fitness on 4/15/13. The motor controller failed prior to 4/9/23. Has 10 yr. warranty. Pro Tread Repair Services called on 4/9/23. Came out on 4/17/23 to make diadnosis (cost $125). Owner tried to get the part. No success. I called Spirit Fitness (Jonesboro, AR). I was told by Sam the part was on back order and to call back weekly. I called multiple times to Sam. Never returned a call. Final, on 7/11/23 reached someone above Sam. I don't know their name. Sam called me that day. The part was in (#*******). Sam said it cost $180 but because of my trouble he sold it to me for $150 (plus $15 shipping). The part arrived. I paid $125 for the serviceman to install it. It did not work. Spirit told the serviceman to have me return it and they would replace it. I did at my cost - $21.65. No contact from Spirit. Only then did I see they sent the wrong part, #*******. Spirit notified. No response. Called Spirit - no response. Finally on 8/11/23 I spoke with Mansel. Told him the story. Promised to call back in an hour - no call. On 8/12/23 spoke to operator at Spirit. Promised Sam, Mansel or she would call back yesterday - no call.
    Today got through to a Team Leader. Spirit does have the correct part. They will not honor 10 yr warranty. The correct part cost more -- ~$275. They will sell it to me for $185. I again have to pay shipping. No refund for mailing cost to return wrong part. No reimbursement for $125 cost for return of serviceman to install "wrong" part they sent initially.
    This is a very dirty, sleazy company. Very hard to get to "Executive Offices" or CEO Tiger ****.
    I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!

    Sam’s customer… he got the wrong controller and called in
    from HI on vacation to complain. Maui was his Wednesday stop but the fires cancelled
    that. The correct part has
    been sent and somehow we are sleazy.  If we sent the wrong part, we should pay for a tech to go
    out and install the correct part sent (after proof of paying a tech for the 1st visit). We were unaware of a labor dispute… we only knew of the incorrect part.

    I purchased Spirit incumbent Stepper from this Sprit fitness in AK in May 2023 and have had trouble from day one. The stepper was not configured right and level 1 was impossible to move
    I complained to the vendor FITNESS EQUIVALENT BROKER from whom I purchased the stepper and they tried to fix the issues. Some issues were fixed but not all. I called them again and they said they have to change the console on the machine. The console was changed still the machine is not reading right distance, I wonder if it is reading my heart rate correctly. It shows 120/125 which according to the doctor it is high for my age. I have stopped using the stepper for now because of this issue. I am concerned having an heart episode
    I am a lung disease patient and have been through a rehab program of 19 weeks at Mayo clinic and have pretty decent idea what and how those numbers should read
    Now I have sent several emails to the vendor FITNESS EQUIPMENT BROKER but no reply
    The stepper costs couple of thousand of dollars and now I have been struck with this Stepper.
    I would like to return the machine

    DO NOT PURCHASE SPIRIT. I have equipment that is 4 years old, that had broken parts. Unable to get replacement parts. First was a recumbent bike - After 1 year of waiting, I decided to junk the bike and purchase another one because my business could not be without this equipment. We are two years, and still not call that parts ever came in. I also had an elliptical break last year in July. I "ordered" the back order part in August. Told 6-8 weeks pending what comes on the orders in. We are now May, 8 month later constantly told no ETA, just depends on what comes in. It appears my "Order" is a request, as its not in production with any type of delivery date. Horrible business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

    We will be happy to help Mr. Foring if he will provide the serial number of each unit.   I have pulled by his name and only find one unit which was an elliptical he purchased in 2015 but do not have any problems posted to it.

    Do not purchase anything from this company. I bought a stepper and it was defective out of the box. The company refused to exchange it and tried to put it all on the dealer who did nothing to help me out. The bottom line is that I purchased a $2500 piece of junk.

    I have a XTerra exercise bicycle. I had it for about 7 months when the seat got
    it’s first crack. Not too long after that another crack appeared. Since it was still under the one year warranty I called the company on September 19, 2022
    I spoke to Natalie, she said the exercise bike was still under warranty and will send me a new seat. I was all happy thinking I’m getting great service. After waiting about threes, the seat was a no show. I called and spoke to Natalie again. She said her supervisor told her the seat in not part of the warranty. I was never informed and kept thinking the seat was coming.
    I asked her how much a replacement seat would cost, she didn’t know and said she would call me back. I never heard from her. The bike should last me forever and the seat although would not. It should have lasted a lot longer then 9 months. It turns out the customer service is pretty bad and not stand behind their products.
    I like the exercise bike a lot and even encouraged my friend to order one. Luckily she didn’t yet. I would not recommend this product because of the really poor customer service.

    I'd give zero stars if I could. Brought this machine from Fitness Showrooms on 5/11/22. Didn't have the machine for more than a month before getting an E2 motor error. This has now occurred three times and on its fourth fixing. We just want a replacement as this is just a lemon but they are refusing to give a replacement. Both the manufacturer and the place that sold it don't want to take accountability. This is in our home gym and we'd love to use it everyday but we've maybe used it ten times and have been able to complete maybe 2 workouts since purchase
