No stars. Rooms near inhabitable. Worst experience at rehab. If I was a weaker person, I wouldn’t have made it-the ENTIRE experience of my mere 10 day stay there was disturbing to say the least, and made me truly worry for all those addicts I left behind when I left/“graduated”. From what I could tell only a handful (if that) of counselors were efficient at TEACHING ADDICTS ABOUT THE WHY’S and THE HOW’s…. All the others just stirred a bunch of emotions up and gave NO coping skills or any way to deal with those feelings because those same ‘counselors’ were unavailable. Nursing was AMAZING. Food service was friendly, but I have a very accute allergy to shellfish and, i STRESSED this fact to treatment team soon as I got there. (and the kitchen as well). they prepared shellfish (popcorn shrimp) the 3rd or 4th day I was there and if someone hadn’t said something before I walked In to the cafeteria like I did the SECOND TIME they made shrimp the day before I was to leave Bradford altogether-it could have been worse. I was guessing they were pushing me out because I SAID something about the ‘classes..anyhow..so THREE TIMES I TOLD THEM. TWO TIMES THEY SERVED SHELLFISH. I was unable to sit through an AA meeting in the cafeteria because the tickle in my throat and my face started to get hot just sitting in the vicinity. Before I run out of space to finish; the AA meetings weren’t properly organized and NA readings were read, ppl were allowed to clap and share at each other-in summation: CONFUSING THESE POOR PEOPLE so when they try meetings after discharge, they’d have NO CLUE how a REAL MEETING WAS RAN!I was first put in a room with water damage that had been sitting there for almost two months. They pulled the carpet moved me to another room (also with tiles falling off bathroom walls, water spotting rust and carpet that had white marks that OBVIOUSLY was mold), made it look like they worked-then PUT THE SANE MOLDY CARPET BACK AND MOVED IN MORE PATIENTS TO THAT ROOM!!!!!!
