  RACIST AND RUDE MANAGEMENT: one star is one too many.
  This is the first time that I have been met with so much hostility and racist innuendo from something that happened while a business was in possession of something that belonged to me.
  Upon picking up a dress shirt from this cleaners, I noticed the entire white collar had turned yellow, almost looked rusted. They said they would take a look at it so I left it. When I came back to pick up/check on the shirt, it still had not been fixed. They asked had I bleached the shirt prior to bringing it in. I told them no and this was only the second time that I had worn the shirt and they cleaned the first time. So he said let me have(I forgot the name he said) look at it; I assumed he was referring to the boss. I get a call on the next day saying something must have been done to the shirt prior to them getting the shirt. He explained the cleaning process and said he didn’t know what else to tell me. I repeated the fact that this was only the second time wearing the shirt and the damage to the shirt happened while they had possession of it. He then said: IM TIRED OF YOU PEOPLE DOING THIS…….. By hearing that racial innuendo pushed me over the edge. I asked what did he mean by you people. He then said it AGAIN and began to yell and raise his voice. I then hung up the phone. I refuse to be disrespected and mistreated by anyone especially by way of any form of racism and prejudice. And in the midst of him yelling at me, he yells out that I didn’t give him an opportunity to offer me a credit. Number 1, he had plenty of time to offer a credit but he was too busy saying he wasn’t responsible and too busy blaming me. Number 2, I don’t want a credit. I won’t give you the opportunity to damage my property again. I know my few hundred dollars that spend each month won’t hurt this business, but I definitely will be taking my hard earned money somewhere else.

  Unfortunately this is categorically untrue. Mr ****** was contacted in reference to his shirt. It was explained to him that there was nothing in the processing of his shirt that would cause the condition that was being examined. We can’t and don’t use any kind of bleach due to the process under which garments are cleaned and pressed. Mr ****** upon calling him was immediately hostile when he was addressing the situation. It was explained to him on three different occasions that there was nothing in the process that would cause yellowing of just the collar and he was not satisfied that. Before any other discussion could occur he stated “YOU WILL BUY MY SHIRT!!!!!” I responded with, no. He then responded with "I'm going to rip you on every social media platform I have." I then responded with "and I'm actually going to respond." It shows where Mr. ******** frame of mind was at the time. Mr ****** then proceeded to raise his voice and become agitated with the situation. The claim of racism is one that is sad for someone to make when they are just unhappy about something that didn’t happen the way they wanted. I’ve been in the cleaning industry for 34 years and have employees and customers that have been with me for 27. It’s because I value each employee and each customer. This is one of the few times I’ve chosen to respond to a customer that couldn’t understand what I was trying to convey and they became angry. I truly believe that if Mr ****** would have reacted differently he would still be a customer today.
