    My experience with Stanley Steamer had been positive in the past. I had used the same team several times and they took their time and genuinely seemed care about job quality. Fast forward two years and I had a new team.
    As mentioned by another reviewer they rushed through the cleaning (cleaned 3 rooms of carpet, two area rugs, a sofa and loveseat and four dining room chairs in two hours). When I pointed out a dirty area on the sofa they said it was because it was a cotton fabric. No offer to do a second pass on that spot. After the area rugs dried one still has several spots as do two of the dining chairs.
    When I called to schedule, I told the individual that I was estimating the size of the area rugs. She said that was OK and that the Service Techs would measure and correct any sizing errors. Well they didn't and now I have been overcharged on both area rugs as I overestimated the size of the rugs.
    Save your money, purchase your own cleaning machine or call another service. Stanley Steamer has lost my business.
