Ordered a 2022 bass cat in Sept of 2021 and recieved the last 2022 when they were releasing 2023's in Aug of 2022. Was also told I would be getting a 2023 year model and didnt. Was lied to multiple times by the rep before and after the sale, with alot of broken promises. Rick ******** response when he found out was "Someone has to get screwed". Buyers beware of how you get treated buying a $80,000 boat from Bass Cat

    Dear Mr. Montani,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with your order and the delays you encountered. We understand your frustration and disappointment, especially when purchasing a significant item like a Bass Cat boat.
The period from 2020 through 2022 was particularly challenging for the outdoor industry due to unprecedented supply chain disruptions and order backlogs. These issues affected production timelines and model year rollouts across the board. Unfortunately, your order was impacted by these delays, and for that, we are truly sorry.
Regarding the promise of receiving a 2023 model, it appears there was a miscommunication, and we apologize for any misinformation provided by our representative. We strive to maintain transparency and trust with our customers, and it is clear we fell short in your case. We are addressing this internally to ensure better communication and service moving forward.
As for the comment attributed to Rick ******, such a response does not reflect our values or commitment to our customers. It appears to be an attempt to explain the challenges we were facing at the time. Model year change must occur each year within a specific window set by Coast Guard regulations, and unfortunately someone's boat must be the final model year unit.
We value your feedback and would like to make things right. Despite the timing of delivery and miscommunications you have experienced, it is our hope that you are enjoying your Bass Cat Boat. We remain committed to providing a great experience for our customers and have several initiatives in the works to improve future experiences.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
