I signed a lease and paid the deposit and first months rent. On the day that I was supposed to move into the location, wyota commons west in Lebanon MO, I was informed that they were canceling the lease and that management would contact me. This was the 24th of January. I received a text that they were willing to refund my money on that Friday afternoon. Since then I have not received any communication from them, and my number has been blocked. I have not taken possession of the apartment, nor do I have keys. They are now billing me for next month’s rent, for an apartment that I am not in, and an apartment that they canceled the lease without explanation.

I am writing in response to the complaint filed by ***** ******** regarding our company, The **** ****oration. We appreciate the opportunity to provide our perspective on this matter.

On January 17th, we entered into a lease agreement with ***** ******** for ***** ******* **** ******* ** **** * **** *** Lebanon, MO 65536. The lease was to go into effect on January 24th, 2025. ***** ******** paid the required move-in fees, and we began preparing the property for occupancy.

However, after further consideration, we decided not to move forward with the lease agreement. We notified ***** ******** of our decision and offered to refund the move-in fees via business check.

Unfortunately, ***** ******** refused to provide a mailing address to receive the refund. Despite our efforts to resolve this matter amicably, we were unable to obtain the necessary information to process the refund.

We believe our actions were fair and reasonable, and we are willing to provide the refund as soon as ***** ******** provides a valid mailing address.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please feel free to contact us if you require any further information.

    Sincerely,

    ******* ******

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Brittny is quite deceptive in her presentation of the facts. Attached is text correspondence with Brittney on the day that I was supposed to move in and they canceled the lease. I was given the option of providing a mailing address to mail a check or meeting the maintenance man on site. I gave a time, and I was there when I said that I would be. In addition to that, the **** **** has blocked me on there phones and despite having called there lines on other numbers and left messages I have NOT received a call back, nor have I heard from Brittny or any other representative of the company since Friday, January the 24th when they canceled my lease.

if they just need an address, they can send it to:

    **** * ***** **

    Halfway, MO 65663

However, I have no faith that they will send the check or have it clear. I believe this because of the deceptive behavior, complete lack of communication, and the overt action to block my number from their phones. I would appreciate this complaint being left open for six more weeks, which should be ample time for Brittny to not send the check.

I am writing to respond to the complaint filed by ***** ******** regarding our rental
property located at **** * *** **. Lebanon, MO 65536. We appreciate your efforts to
review this matter and to respond to the complaint being rejected.

has refused, and we have fulfilled our obligations as landlords. If ***** ********
provides a mailing address or wants to come to The **** ****orate office located at *** ***** **** ** in Mountain Home, AR 72653, we are happy to refund any move-in costs

I rent an apartment from “The Dels” in West Plains MO. In my lease it says that I am able to pay my rent in cash, money order or cashiers check on the 6th of each month, although in October of 2024 an announcement was sent out that if anyone does not pay their rent online on the first of each month they will be evicted. I emailed them saying that I would like to continue paying my rent in money orders because there are fees online and they said that I will no longer be able to and that if I do not pay online I will get evicted.

    Re: Complaint # *********

    Dear BBB Representative,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We apologize for the issues experienced by Crystal Fenske and appreciate the opportunity to respond.

We take all complaints seriously and are committed to providing excellent service to our customers. We have reviewed the complaint and would like to provide the following response:

Our Tenant, ******* ******, did not bring her concern regarding her rent payment options to our attention before reaching out to the BBB. We have reached out to ******* since receiving this complaint to let her know that we are happy to accept her payment via cash, cashiers check or money order if she is not comfortable paying the $3.00 online fee and will accept her payment on the 6th of each month instead of the 1st of each month until a new lease agreement is signed.

We value our customers and strive to provide the highest level of service. We hope that this response and our proposed resolution will bring this matter to a close.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any additional information.

    Sincerely,

    ****** *******
    President
