    Contacted the business to schedule the annual roof inspection described in the warranty details and to get a quote for a roof replacement. Got scheduled for 03/31/25 @ 9 am. Received a call back from a gentleman at the business and he never gave me his name but informed me that they will NOT give me a quote for roof replacement due to the balance left on the account for the property. I told him I thought quotes were free how does that have to do with the balance on the account if quotes are suppose to be free. He said they will not come out to give a quote unless balance has been paid. I told him to cancel the quote requested but still want the appointment for them to come out and do the annual roof inspection per the guidelines of the warranty. Called about a week after my scheduled appointment to see if anyone has come out to do the annual inspection on the roof, because usually I get a phone call when they are on their way to my property but I had not heard from anyone. Found out the gentleman that called and told me they would not give me a quote must have cancelled my appointment for the annual roof inspection because when speaking with several different people, no one could find in the system where I had a scheduled appointment for anyone to come out. I am very upset and frustrated with this company. It has been a nightmare since I purchased my home and transferred the warranty over to my name. They have been nothing but rude and unprofessional and it should not be that way when dealing with customers. They are not helpful at all when I call to get information about the warranties inquired about. They always are sure to tell me there is a balance on the account if nothing else, in which I am very aware of. I wanted to keep the same company when dealing with replacement of my roof but they are so rude and unprofessional that I would rather go with another company instead of them.

    It is company policy that previous work must be paid before additional services are provided.  Our roof warranty requires that the customer maintain the roof by having it inspected and maintained once per year with us or with another provider as long as records are kept of the maintenance.  We provide this service free the first year after the purchase of the roof from our company.  This customer did not purchase the roof from us.

    I am rejecting this response because: When I purchased the home, the records provided to me showed this company as being the ones who did the roof replacement. Some of the representatives at this company are VERY rude and unprofessional. I reached out to keep the record of the annual inspection up to date by attempting to schedule someone to come out and complete that service this year and no one has done so. I called today (04/25/25) to schedule someone to come out and look at the leak in the roof as part of the warranty, I was hung up on initially, I called back and the young lady informed someone would reach out. Another young lady reached back out then I was transferred numerous times until I got to a guy named ******* who very rudely told me "they will not assist me in any manner until balance has been paid." I have made payments on the balance but to be rejected the services that are supposed to be provided to me per the warranty on the roof is very unprofessional. I still have not received the quote I was told I would be receiving weeks ago nor has anyone reached out about that quote either. I understand this is a business, I am not trying to get over on anyone. Dealing with this company since I purchased my home has been a nightmare and it has been very unprofessional on their end. I requested a roof replacement quote and was turned down when it is suppose to be free. I have requested to uphold the requirements to keep the warranty in good standing and have been denied services there as well. When transferring the warranty to my name when the home was bought, they were also difficult in assisting with this as well. Now I have a leak in my ceiling that should be covered under the warranty and I have been denied services for that as well. I am just trying to keep this home I purchased in order and as up to date as I can financially and it has not been easy but I am trying to manage. I am not able to make the balance in full as I am a single mother with one income doing the absolute best I can, so making payments on the balance is the best I can do at this moment. However, I feel as if this is being held against me at the fact that I am unable to make a large lump sum payment on the account so they are being as difficult as they can to make this process a nightmare.

    As stated previously, the customer did not purchase a roof from us.  Upon further research, she does not have a warranty transfer on record with us either.  Though it is our policy not to provide service unless the previous balance is paid in full, we did provide an estimate and will be happy to work with the customer should she wish to proceed with a new roof.

    A contract was signed between PI Roofing and myself on 03/01/2024. A deposit was paid on 03/15/2024. The work was performed on 03/22/2024.
    On 03/25/2024, the first rain storm came and we noticed that in 2 places, the shingles did not extend far enough for the rain waiter to run into the gutters. Consequently, rain water was pouring between the gutter and the face board. This was not an issue with the previous roof we had. Videos were made and sent to both management and the sales person. Promises were made to have the issue fixed within a week. On 2 different occasions, someone came to the house and 'looked' at the issue. Even the sales person - ******* **** -came out and said that it was an easy fix and sweet talked his way around the problem. Nothing materialized. Subsequent text messages were left unanswered and he never contacted us again.
    Mid May, I received a call from this company's new 'operation manager', apologizing for the fact that this issue was not being addressed properly. The call ended with the solemn promise it would be fixed very soon. Again, nothing materialized. 06/26/2024 Yet another rain storm came through today and the issue is still there.
    Multiple calls to this company resulted in the same outcome. Oh, I am sorry, I will give it to my manager and he will call you back. Which never happens! How else can it be explained that after 3 months + we are still dealing with this? There is a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee in the contract. Apparently idle words.
    All we want is that the issue is addressed to both's satisfaction as soon as possible. We have been patient enough!

    I am sorry for the delay in getting this resolved. I show that ***** repaired the area on 5/29/24. Let me take a look at the issue next week and see what else we can do to stop the water from getting behind the gutter. ****
