      Working with Kimber as our same-day wedding coordinator was disappointing and hurtful. Despite promises, she failed to meet basic expectations and lacked professionalism.
      Our wedding, set for 4:15-4:30, was tightly scheduled. Before my arrival, Kimber called about missing table runners but failed to mention a bigger issue: nothing at the venue was set up, and she hadn’t contacted the furniture vendor to fix their mistake.
      When we arrived at 3:45, expecting the setup to be nearly done, the venue was nearly empty. Only a few tables and chairs were present, leaving our bridal party scrambling to set up in formal attire. The arch wasn’t assembled or decorated, and the detailed setup plan we provided was ignored.
      Kimber’s interactions with guests and vendors added stress. She was rude, unhelpful, and argued with our food vendor over taking a plate, despite already eating.
      During teardown, she involved an intoxicated, unhoused man, who dropped tables and caused disruptions requiring security. An assistant we paid extra for never arrived. Décor was left in disarray—frames were broken, and the arch swag we planned to keep was damaged.
      When we raised concerns privately, Kimber ignored us and attempted to gaslight us, dismissing valid complaints. This was especially disappointing given her claims of 15 years of experience.
      If this reflects her services, I urge others to reconsider hiring her for important events like weddings.

      Greetings 

      Thank you kindly for reaching out to Kimber Decor Events in reference to the services you secured us for and we provided for the wedding. Withball events that we are contracted for , we continued to see the services through from start to finish. We make sure that each staff member is on task at all times. In our previous reply email to you last month , it was stated that

      1. An additional staff member wasn't onsite to complete the setup and breakdown service. We supplied photo documentation,  as well as the paid receipts of the 1hr 1 staff member for $50.

      2. We were contracted to coordinate your wedding the day of onsite at a public park of Bernice gardens in Little Rock.  We provided the invoice receipt of that particular service.  

      3. We didnt contract out 3rd party vendors for other wedding services that was required to complete your day. Any contracts signed by the client , can only be discussed with that particular business owner. We can't address any issues on their behalf. We also didn't  ask on our behalf for any additional individuals to assist with setup nor breakdown.  If anyone did so, it was of their own free will . 

      4. We weren't contracted to clean the public area of where individuals had left trash while sitting eating lunch , broken glass beer bottles nor the area where individuals camped out on on the benches as we arrived. 

      As stated there were unforseen issues that created delayed  situations .There was a default with the rental items .That was beyond our control. 15 mins after 4pm the wedding ceremony was ready to begin. The remainder of the evening continued as scheduled. We never stopped working. We take pride in making sure each event is carried out.Whether it's big or small. We don't stop working our contracted events.There wasn't a plan B for the outdoor public park wedding ceremony and reception. Guests pulled up parked and stood outside at their choice. Had weather not permitted,  the guests would've had to remain in their cars until the ceremony began . With having 15 plus yrs of event planning service , we have encountered unforseen issues to arise at events. The best solution is to keep moving forward and to not stop working.  

      The rental items were placed back in the area, and we left the area in better conditions than what it was when we arrived at the gardens.  Our full service was completed. 

      Once again,the selected invited guests that did show up and support your day are unforgettable memories that are priceless.  We once again wish you well and hope the both of you continue to have an amazing marriage. Creating priceless moments to outlast a lifetime.
