    This company was subcontracted by the company that I hired. The company I hired was **** ******** out of Hot Springs. I have already had ***** crew fix some of the issues that ******* crew did. This is a remodel project. I had purchased my new home last year and was supposed to move into the home before May of last year. Several things were not done or done incorrectly. I just had to pay a plumber 4500 to fix issues from United Construction only hooking up my toilet only under my house and not the washer/dryer, sinks or shower. I had no idea all the water was just emptying under my crawlspace till just recent. I also discovered that they didn't even put the barrier under the house as well. ***** crew and ***** were sent an invoice of what I had to pay along with more pictures under my house the plumber submitted to me. **** has offered to come demo the shower and re-do it as a way to help fix some of the issues. He has known for the beginning of how i have not been satisfied with the work that was done. **** ******** is with hometown roofing and remodeling and his number is ************. I have supporting documents that I paid the plumber and other workers but I have that on my phone, not the computer. I would like my plumber fees of 4500, and I do not know how much other repairs for under my house will be yet. I have blower trying to dry my crawl space so I can look at what other damages are including rotting wood from the continued water.

    Hometown Roofing believed this matter had been resolved, as *** ****** ********* informed **** ********* the company's owner, of her intention to notify the Better Business Bureau that the issue had been rectified and she was satisfied with the work performed. We returned to *** ************ residence and completed the work to her satisfaction. She expressed complete satisfaction with our work and, according to **** ********* apologized for filing the complaint. Regarding the plumbing, Hometown Roofing had no plumbing projects contracted with *** **********, and it is believed that she resolved the issues with the contracted plumber.

    Contractor stated on 6-23-2022 a price and 6 week maximum timeframe for project. I have paid contractor $110,000 in total. On 11-23-2022 I was told that if I did not provide another $15,000 check that he would not come back. I paid the Money. The contractor in question (**** ********) has not responded to me and I have not seen him or heard from him since. Work and supplies (mainly but not limited to windows) have not been provided and are estimated to be well over $30,000. There has been no explanation and has basically admitted to job abandonment.

    Hometown Roofing and *** *** ******* entered into a verbal agreement for work and cost at *** ****** **** *** ******** ** *****. As the project progressed, *** ******* opted to have additional work done, which was not part of the initial agreement. An inspection by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board revealed that Hometown Roofing completed the agreed-upon work. The Board cleared Hometown Roofing of any wrongdoing and determined they were not in violation of job abandonment. Hometown Roofing completed all work outlined in the initial agreement.
