      Do NOT use this unprofessional HVAC repair company!
      Our AC went out on the weekend. We called and finally got a hold of someone at Kinty ***** Heating Cooling. They said they could come out Sunday. Worker showed up in a non-company vehicle driven by his girlfriend and tools. He visited our outdoor unit--never came inside to diagnose the problem. After a minute of studying the outdoor unit, tech said that it was low on freon and proceeded to top it off. And then left.
      Our AC was NOT fixed. We had to call out another company.
      Kinty ***** hadn't given us a quote or an invoice. That following week, we received an invoice in the mail for $425 from Kinty *****. It was not an itemized bill.
      My husband called Kinty ***** and spoke with the office manager, David, who was extremely hostile and angry, despite us explaining that the tech hadn't fixed the AC when the temps inside our house were 88 degrees.
      David wouldn't listen to my husband and insisted that he could do nothing about the price and that we would need to talk to the tech who had serviced our residence.
      That afternoon, as my husband attempted to get a hold of the tech's contact information, the office ignored his phone number. We ended up having to call from my phone. We called the office again to get a hold of the tech's phone number. The secretary told us she didn't have techs' contact information.
      The following Monday, I called Kinty ***** and spoke with David who continuously talked over me. I couldn't get a word in. I argued that his tech hadn't fixed the unit, but he was adamant that I pay.
      I asked him to break down the bill for me. He said the service call was $79. I told him that's not what his website said. He replied that was a special and that customers had to ask for it. I pushed him, telling him that the tech had told us, prior to coming out, that it was $39.
      With a sudden change of heart, David took the charge off our bill. Perhaps he was tired of dealing with us.
