    On 10/25/24, my husband purchased a Downey woodpecker figurine from West Main Gallery. He was told the store can ship his purchase to him for an additional charge ($15). My husband provided his mailing address.

    On the morning of 11/6/24, I emailed the store using the “contact us” link on the store’s website. I also followed up with a phone call and left a voicemail message to inquire about the status of the package. I did not receive a response to either one so I called the store on 11/7/24. I spoke with a lady who told me they were busy remodeling the store and shipping the package fell through the crack. I was told the figurine was shipped on 11/6/24. I was not provided with a tracking number.

    As of 11/25/24, my husband still did not receive the figurine he purchased. I called the store again. The lady I spoke with told me the package got knocked off a truck and the mailing label got messed up when that happened so the information on it could not be read. She also said she did not keep my husband’s mailing address so she couldn’t mail the package back out. She asked for the mailing address again. I provided my name and mailing address. She told me she would mail out the package the following day (11/26/24).

    I contacted the store again on 12/6/24 because the figurine was still not received. I was told it was shipped the previous week. I was told her local post office is bad and that it takes a long time for packages to get anywhere. I was not provided proof of shipment (receipt or tracking number). There was no apology or offer of a refund.

    My husband would appreciate a refund of the full amt he was charged since the store refuses to ship the item he purchased to him. All the store offered is excuses why we did not receive the package they keep telling us would be shipped.
