    I have been shipping with UPS for over 30 years. I am a satisfied customer normally. I went to the "UPS Store" which turns out to be a franchise. I issued "call tags" for a shipment that UPS neglected and ultimately broke. I had no interests in filing a damage claim due to value of the shipments. I was doing due diligence to my customer and sent UPS back after the errant packages. I was charged over $300.00 to have the boxes returned. I did not argue, for the fact they told me the boxes were oversized. I had no idea how the customer boxed them for return so I didn't argue. When they arrived, I began to question the store manager. Immediately she began to raise her voice in front myself, her employees and other customers. I was loudly and openly accused of "not being a gentleman" and to told to leave! At no time did I offer resistance or raise my voice. All I wanted was an explanation. I never requested a refund, I simply wanted to educate myself on how I could not have this happen again. The owner/manager is oriental and became even more offensive when I asked her to lower her voice and reminded her that I was the customer. She became hard to understand became completely irate, defensive and abusive. She stated she was "not part of UPS, this was her store and her rules"? Her employees quietly asked me to not tell her that they had spoken to me about the charges being extremely high and I stated I wouldn't. I didn't understand that statement until she unleashed her fury on me. This business is an embarrassment to my city and my community. UPS should have better policing programs for their franchised owners. This ordeal was disrespectful for me and everyone else present in that store.
