      I have been on hold over a total of 10hrs with in the last month to try and speak to a customer service representatives. I work for a Dental office. 1 time I called as a "patient" and got right through to someone but of course would NOT help me as I truly wasn't the patient but a provider's office. Today, I waited to speak to a customer service rep for 1 hour and 54 minutes. After giving all of the patient information and explaining what I was calling for, he (representative) put me on hold to get me some information and then after about 2 minutes on hold the call was dropped.

      Have spent a total of 6 hours on hold in the last few weeks and have not been able to speak to anyone. After about an hour on hold, the call ends suddenly. I have verified that I am calling the correct phone number multiple times and have tried calling different phone numbers. Not sure how they can run a business like this. My time is valuable and shouldn’t be wasted sitting on hold just to ask one question. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE!!

      If I could rate a 0 I would! Do not get an estimate with them, it is false and if still will cost you a few thousand more!

      Refused coverage for ridiculous reason - claimed that the implant was not covered because "the tooth never existed since we don't have a record of extraction". If I were born without that tooth, there would be no room install the implant but any sort of reasoning that doesn't contribute to their bottom line simply does not exist.

      DO NOT PURCHASE DELTA DENTAL COVERAGE. This company is literally selling snake oil if purchased through the so-called "marketplace." I have been paying for monthly for coverage for no reason. Delta Dental paid zero dollars on my one claim that was filed with them. They told my dentist that they reimburse the patient directly with a check. I then called 4 different Delta Dental call centers, as each representative I spoke to said they didn't handle marketplace individual policies and kept sending me elsewhere. The last number I was transferred to stopped responding to my key pad entries. They also continued to charge our credit card monthly despite the fact that we let the credit card expire and didn't give them the new updated expiry date and CVV code. This company is truly a SCAM.
