      OMG - This company doesn't show up , or doesn't install it correctly, or hangs up when you call for help. It is everything that a terrible company does to not serve their customers. Even cancelling, turning in my equipment and getting a refund for the 2 months that I didn't use the internet was an absolute nightmare. Called the Cox store on 14th 3x one day, and they hung up on me or disconnected the call all three times. ***?! Terrible company, terrible store, terrible customer service. Use AT&T instead.

      Very unreliable internet May 20,21 and 25th 2025.
      Hard to get any information from them, they use AI for chats, and I get a preprogrammed response.
      My internet has been down for 3 days this month (May 2025).
      I don’t want to pay for a service I did not receive. Most would call that stealing.

      This company is a rip off artist that has terrible service. We called, the calls are recorded, and cancelled our internet. They forgot to turn it off. Now they are trying to get us to pay for 2 months when we didn't even live in the house. After several calls with them they have given us a bad report on our credit reporting and caused our credit score to go low. If you want to be ripped off and have crappy internet service in the meantime, this is the company for you. if you want good service with a company that is honest then stay away from Cox Communications. Buyer beware is all i am saying.

      We have reached out to our customer to address their concerns, however, our attempts to reach them have been unsuccessful. Once we are able to speak with the customer and verify the account, we can address their concerns and provide a successful resolution.

      This company offers the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have attempted to cancel since October 24th, 2024 and they claim they will transfer you to the correct department only to transfer you hours later or at odd hours of the night when you cannot respond. They have refused to backdate the service and all they have done is offer insincere apologies and have tried to force me to choose a current or future day to cancel. Because I have not, they have threatened to deny my cancellation and have threatened to refuse further help. The BBB and the FCC should shut them down.

      They made me give a star. This company offers the worst service I have ever received. I pay nearly $100 a month for the service to only work every other month without interruption. All they will do is offer empty apologies and continue their day. The BBB and the FCC should shut them down.

      Customer service is lacking. My cable went out on 09/09/24. They scheduled me for a tech visit on 09/10/24. The tech came out but didn’t fix the problem and left. He said he was turning it over to another department. In the meantime I found a cable laying across my chest of drawers, not attached to anything. I called, I think, every day but today I finally had to get a supervisor involved. I still don’t have cable but they’re not dispatching another tech until Sunday 09/15/24. They left me on hold for long periods of time. I couldn’t help them troubleshoot their own equipment because I broke my arm Sunday. Now they want to charge me $75 for a visit or I could instead let them bill me for $30 and they’d dismiss the other charge. This is one problem, should have been resolved before he left. Who just leaves without fixing the problem?

      When I renewed my contract with Cox recently I noticed they offered Paramount Plus Showtime for $5 month. I have had Max for $5 month through Cox for several years and have enjoyed it. I can watch channels or access the app on devices. So I added Paramount which it turns out is not the app. It is just a handful of channels that play old movies. No access to Paramount programming. This was not explained to me when I signed up. I feel I was sold a bag of goods. When I found this out a Cox rep told me I would lose the promotions I received in the new contract even though the promotions were negotiated before Paramount was added. This is very misleading and dishonest on Cox's part. This should be made right. I am unhappy with this and feel taken advantage of.

      Horrific customer service and service in general. The internet is constantly going down. Our plan changes from unlimited to limited days without our knowing. It was a way to charge us overage fees of $100 over our regular bill, stating we had went over our allowed data. We work from home and would never sign up for a limited data plan. Now instead of paying the 113.05 /mth, we had to sign up for unlimited data plan at 150/month. Plus the $30 in fees for changing plans even though we never changed plans. Hate Cox. Praying for another company to offer internet services in our area.

      Constant internet issues, have had a service tech out multiple times and went through 3 routers. Turns out it was a connection infrastructure issue at the street. Was charged a bunch of money for nothing but problems. Complete waist of time and money

      We want to thank the customer for taking the time to file his concern. In receipt of this complaint, Cox was unsuccessful in connecting with the customer. Per Cox records the customer was charge an internet professional connection on June 11, 2023, and in addition an internet professional conversion. On June 11, 2023, an installation credit of $109.50 was applied to his account and on July 5, 2023, an installation credit of $109.50 was applied. We believe he is satisfied with our efforts to resolve this matter. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
      Should the customer have any further questions about this matter, we ask that they contact our Executive Escalations Specialist at the phone number provided to them (via voicemail) and/or email.

      Have made several attempts to cox. I purchased a new home began permits and construction for a pool. Cox decided to instal a cable box in the way of my backyard entrance. So I had to stop construction to avoid pump extra fees - cox installers also left a mess on my yard after months of working on my grass and lawn they left a bunch of rocks everywhere and red soil, this has made it difficult and inconvenient in so many ways. I started removing all our comercial accounts to att now -

      Cox made attempts to reach Mr. P**** by both phone and email in receipt of his complaint; however, we did not have the opportunity to speak with them.
