    Last April I spent over $13,000 on a pool and installation at my home in Green Forest, AR (60 mi from Burton in Springdale). I paid for the upgraded ladder ($400-$500). The ladder was left on the lawn so the pool could settle before putting it in. The installers told me to tighten up the bolts before putting it in the water.
    When I went to do that, I noticed there were a couple of holes left that looked as though there should be more bolts. No instructions were left for me.
    I tightened everything that I could tighten, but the structure wobbled front to back when it was used. It moved to the point that it was unsafe. Several times when it was used, the swimmer would fall. The ladder did not work for even 1 day.
    Burton was notified right away. They told me in no uncertain terms that I was solely responsible for the ladder and that I was too far from them to send anyone out even if they wanted to.
    After several communications with Johnny ********** (salesman), the gentleman that sets up the filtration systems stopped by to take a look at it. He was already in town. Again, it was made clear that they would not send someone just for my problem. This gentleman added mismatched bolts to the ladder, bolted on a large plexiglass piece attached to the underside, then used large velcro strips to attach the plexiglass piece to the metal rim of the pool.
    Not only did that not work for even 10 minutes of use, the entire ladder busted when it was removed. The rim of my brand new pool is scratched with velcro and glue still on it that won't come off. This is going to lead to rust, and is an eyesore on my new $13,000 pool. The entire situation could have been avoided if this store stood behind their products and stood up for their customers.
    Derek, the manager, has done absolutely nothing to make this right, and is now ignoring my attempt to contact him through email.
    Now that they have my money they couldn't care less about this customer.
