    I was seeking house cleaning services for my elderly parents who live in another state. In November, I paid $200 toward a deep cleaning service. The service was postponed due to a parent being in the hospital. I finally scheduled an appoint for April 5. I sent an email to confirm service on the evening of April 4. I received no confirmation subsequent to March 17. On the morning of said service, ***** tells me they must have double booked and asked if they could come on April 6. My parents' have many appointments and do not have flexibility like that. This does not show the reliability needed for my elderly parents especially with me being so far away. I want my $200 back and nothing more. ***** refuses to return it. No contract was signed.

    Yes! What she failed to tell you is her appointment was at 2 pm and I made arrangements to be there by that time even though I had over booked myself. She is just mad because she wanted her retainer fee back and she cancelled after I made arrangements to be there on time the day of the appointment. She is wrong for filing a complaint. I have  all of her stuff in text and emails if you need my proof of her cancellation. Thank you ***** I can be reached at this number anytime thanks again **********

    She plainly says she emailed me at 8 pm and my business hours are clearly posted from 8-5 pm. So no I didn’t get her email till the next day. Also I removed the other appointment from my day and made it clear we would be there that day and on time. She is just upset bc she doesn’t understand the definition of retainer ! She canceled bottom line !! I’m sorry she has such a problem with paying people for their time and my efforts to be kind and help even when she changed the day the first time. I could have charged you a retainer again but didn’t. Thanks *****

    I am rejecting this response because:

    No resolution will come without return of my $200 that is needed for my mother medical expenses. I texted never emailed.  And she did not confirm when I asked the evening before and the next morning she said she was overbooked.  If I had not reached out no one would have even showed up.  Not a reputable business.
