    If you have plenty of money, Micah Szabo will do a good job for you but he is very money focused and not customer focused. It is all about him getting paid which is ultimately what all businesses want but he takes it to the extreme. I build houses and I know a lot of contractors. The defining characteristic for most, at least for me, is not if they have ever made a mistake. It is how willing they are to stand behind their mistakes and correct things when things go wrong. In my case, I asked for quotes on what I thought was a simple 1100-1400 remodel. When I was charged for 2400 square feet instead of working with me on how we could resolve it so we both were happy- he simply defended his position and his right to collect every penny. It was clear what my expectations were from the beginning, but our conversations really centered on "when he could pick up a check" and basically that I was lucky to have him because he was the best in the business. Truthfully, his work is good. Just have deep pockets if you want to use him.
