I brought my car to Network Automotive in *************** for the **** program, which includes emissions testing. After dropping off my car and discussing prices with the staff, I realized I was unsure about what the typical charges are for auto repair services. Despite this, I agreed to the service but decided to call other shops out of curiosity to compare prices. My car only needed a simple tune-up involving new spark plugs, ignition coils, and replacing a hose.During my phone calls, I found that other shops were offering the same service for $350-$450, including both parts and labor. When I arrived at Network Automotive, I requested an itemized bill and was surprised to see they were charging $170 per hour for labor. In total, they charged me $1726 for changing the spark plugs and ignition coils, but instead of replacing the hose as agreed, they only repaired it by reattaching it. Additionally, they charged anhundred dollars just to drive my car to emissions for testing. The staff member at the front desk seemed unable to answer my questions and assured me that their manager would contact me the following day. Unfortunately, no one reached out to me. Upon picking up my car, I noticed that the head unit for my stereo was no longer working, even though it was functioning when I initially brought it in. It appears that Network Automotive may be taking advantage of customers who are not knowledgeable about car repair costs. Other auto shops I contacted had quoted me no more than $450 for the same services, including parts and labor. Watch out! This place should be ashamed of themselves.
