Went to ** Frame and Fabrication after being referred to them from **** trailers. Spoke with owner ************************** and told him I wanted to lower the trailer so I could easily put my ************************** in it. Was told a mock up would be done to make sure the height was correct, which did not happen as well as giving me options to pick what storage box would go on the tongue of the trailer which also did not happen. I wanted a **** pound torison axle and was told I got a new axle as well as new hubs. I received a **** pound torison axle and it was used, painted to hide the rust as well as used hubs. The trailer was not lowered at all, it stands 21 inches off the ground and was told that was normal height, which it is not. The normal height is ***** inches from the ground. I was not given an itemized receipt of the work that was done and I even asked for warranty information which I was told to bring it back to him and he would handle it (this was done multiple times). I had another trailer repair place look at it and it is obviously a used axle and hubs (see letter head and photographs). I did not get what I was asking for and I was mislead/lied to about the "new" parts that were used. This cost me $8,000 and now my trailer is so messed up, it will cost that to fix what he has done to it. I am requesting to be reimbursed the cost of the trailer (which was $3,000) and what he charged me, $8,000 for a total of $11,000 so I can get another trailer. I cannot use this trailer because of what he has done to it for it is unsafe and now I cannot help family in ******* and bring them supplies.
