    I had State 48 RV replace an axle of a 5th wheel I just bought. They said if I did one thing only to the unit it would be to replace the back axle. Less than an hour after leaving I had a catastrophic even happen on interstate 10 in AZ.. One of the back tires on the replaced axle sheared off the hub. It narrowly missed ******************* on both sides of the interstate. We had to limp it off the highway and at the cost of **** dollars have it repaired. When I took the ** back to State 48 they said it was my fault!!!. They said I had adjusted my trailer brakes improperly. I have used all types of trailers and know how to adjust trailer brakes. I told them that but they totally rebuffed me. So i have contacted more than 10 ** repair shops and brake repair shops with pictures of the damaged hub and NOT ONE has said loosing the rim and tire was a brake issue. They all said it was more likely that State 48 over-tightened the lug nuts causing them to shear. I contacted State 48 and they told me they torqued the lug nuts at 120 pounds. This is over the suggested rim capacity and at least 20 pounds over the normal . So here I am with a rim that doesn't match the rest of the ** rims and damage to my fender where the tire hit. Plus all the repair costs.

    I would never work with *** or his team again after the horrible experience we just had with them. After checking out an RV, we immediately put down a deposit and got our lender working on the paperwork.After getting through the lenders approval process we simply needed Toms staff to provide the final bit of documentation in order to close the deal before we had to leave town for a two week trip. His staff was made aware of the trip and urgency needed in order to close before this trip but still failed to get the needed documentation to the lender in time. The documentation was eventually provided but not in time to close before we had to leave town. So after finally getting everything organized (loan fee paid, insurance purchased and service warranty in place), we set up a date to have the payment sent from our lender and a physical pickup date for the ***All this was communicated to *** and agreed to, then *** emails us out of the blue a week before closing to say he is refunding our deposit because he hadnt heard from our bank. This is the first I was made aware of this. I immediately got in touch with the lender and they responded to *** within the hour. I followed up with a phone call to ensure he had everything he needed from the lender and he proceeded to tell me that he was no longer selling us the *** When I questioned him on why he was going back on his word he proceeded to then flat out lie about the agreement he had made. At that point when I called out his lack of integrity in his handling of the deal and then subsequent lying he simply hung up on me, also showing his level of maturity.I cannot speak to ***** integrity, as I did not work with him, hopefully its at a higher level than his partner.Just be prepared that if integrity matters to you and supporting those who have it does as well, then *** is not an individual you want to do business with. This review is just to make you aware of the kind of person you are dealing with.
