  After hiring Mario ******** from Mario Mario Landscaping 2023 and paid a down payment of $12,500.00 he started demanding more money for the project. After he applied for a building permit he refused to continue with the application after he realized he had to build with City codes . The application for this project is still open and we agreed for Mario ******** would send me a refund statement and pay me money from my deposit for some work that the company did complete and would also like to mention I was told from him and his wife that the building permit was included in the project price . He claims he never told me it was included and wanted another $1,500.00 for permit than that would have made my deposit $14,000.00 instead of the $12,500 I paid for half of the $25,000.00 due for the project.After I received my refund statement I noticed he overcharged me for work not included in my contract and work not done. He forged my signature on another refund statement that I never received but he sent it to ROC and which the inspector *************************** from ROC ignored my refund statement and said because I signed this phony forged refund statement that I agreed to the refund amount I received from Mario ******** of $800. February of 2024 I took Mario ******** to small claims court in Verde Valley Justice Court for $2,350.00 overcharged for work not in my contract or done. In court Mario ******** stated that he knows that is my forged signature because it matches my signature on my drivers license. Judge ****** wrote in his analysis that he found the defendants testimony doubtful and finds the purported signature highly dubious at best and at worst a forgery. Mario ******** must have access getting information from the Cottonwood AZ drivers division. Also should mention Judge ****** even though work not in contract and believes signature is forged he was in favor of Mario ******** to keep my hard earned money. Hard to believe !-0 rating *************************

  We had a challenging site that needed just the right hardscaping to make the most of our beautiful outdoor setting. Mario and his crew delivered flawlessly from start to finish. They went that extra mile in managing all the inevitable tweaks required in the course of dealing with unstable soils, uncooperative weather, a limited work area and a homeowner who had a particular vision. Mario, himself, was on the site, throughout the entire process to assure each phase was executed properly. We are very happy with our new stone patio areas and can highly recommend Mario and Mario Landscaping to anyone who needs landscaping or masonry services in the Verde Valley and beyond.

  They did a hard and heavy landscaping job in one day at our house and did it well. We are very pleased with their work and would hire them again. Best of luck to them.

  My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of work and reasonable cost that was performed by ***** and his team. He was very responsive to my questions and worked with me on what work I needed around the house. He was able to point out some issues that I did not see at the time and provided me with a reasonable cost to fix those issues. I would definitely trust Mario to work on my next landscape project and would highly recommend him and his team to others.
