I contacted Danny K Mobile RV Repair and Maintenance on Sunday August 4, ********************************************** our RV. Upon arrival, the two technicians looked at the unit (did not use any tools or diagnostic equipment) and determined that we needed a new capacitor and motor run module ($60 in parts). The technician ordered them on Amazon and said they would be back Monday or Tuesday. They were here less than 10 minutes and charged me $260 for this service. I did not hear from them on Monday August 5, 2024. I called them on Tuesday August 6, 2024 and was told the parts were being delivered that evening. They said they would be here in the morning of Wednesday August 7, 2024. I called them at noon on August 7, 2024 as they had not shown up in the morning. I was told that they were picking up the part in ********* and would be out. The technician arrived at 2:15 pm with his wife and child in his vehicle. He proceeded to change out the capacitor and motor run module (less than 2 minutes). I turned the ** unit on and the issue was not resolved with the new parts. The technician shrugged his shoulders and told me To be honest, we don't work on RV basement units, we usually only do roof ones. He then told me that he couldn't figure it out and could not help. Again, no inspection or diagnostic equipment was used. The technician was present for a total of 6 to 7 minutes. He then proceeded to charge me another $290 for his service. I wrote a check and he left. We paid this business a total of $550 and have no resolution to our problem. My husband attempted to call them in the afternoon of Wednesday August 7, 2024 to ask them why we were charged for service that was not complete. He left a voicemail and has not heard back from them. Note: We are an elderly couple and reside in our RV. I feel that we were taken advantage of by this company and that they are incompetent to be advertising as an RV repair company.
