    Date of the transaction:The original transaction took place on April 5, 2023, and the issue with my vehicle occurred on June 18, 2024, when I contacted *** about the problem.Amount of money you paid the business:I paid approximately $5595 for the supercharger kit and related services/software provided by ****What the business committed to provide you:*** committed to providing a supercharger kit, along with the necessary software/tune for optimal performance. They also committed to providing technical support for any issues or adjustments needed after installation.What the nature of the dispute is:The dispute arose after I made modifications to my vehicle (upgraded coils, spark plugs, and fixed intake leaks) and experienced issues with a Check Engine Light (CEL). I requested an updated tune from *** to accommodate these changes. Instead of providing the service, the business responded unprofessionally and refused to assist, dismissing my concerns and implying that aftermarket parts were at fault. Despite my efforts to clarify and resolve the issue, *** continued to respond rudely, refusing to offer any further support.Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem:*** has not made any genuine attempts to resolve the problem. Instead, their responses have been dismissive and unprofessional, with no effort to provide a solution or work with me to diagnose the problem. They have repeatedly insisted that the issue is not related to the tune and have refused to offer further assistance.

    We read your letter from the BBB with great interest as filing a complaint in this case is absolute and utter nonsense on your behalf. Like we said before we can NOT "tune for" different coils and spark plugs as there is no such thing. You now have a *** because you have a genuine hardware error in your car after you worked on it. The exact error code will tell you what the problem is and the only way to get rid of the *** and return the engine to proper operation is to actually repair what the diagnosed problem is. With high probability it is related to something you did when you last worked on your engine or possibly your aftermarket coils having some sort of electrical issue triggering system function diagnostics. You should run nothing but OEM coils and plugs on this engine to ensure proper operation. Something is not working properly in your engines hardware causing an error code and that has nothing to do with your tune from us which worked flawless until you started changing parts to non OEM items. Software does not change over time, and it is not the reason you now have an error. You need to take your car to a competent mechanic and have them diagnose exactly what the error is and repair accordingly. We can and will not remove any mandated diagnostics for your engine control system, it must be repaired to proper working order so the *** control system is satisfied with proper function of all engine hardware.

    The software in every single ESS system of your type is identical.There are no variations at all in tuning between cars. If an error is diagnosed, it is an actual error that needs to be repaired accordingly and the engine control system is simply doing its job and telling you there is a hardware problem you need to correct.
