I bought the 1" mini blinds. They seem like good quality, were easy to install, look good and work well. I am giving 3 stars because I had to install using an Outside mount. I called up **************** before ordering to ask how Outside mounted blinds would clear the window molding and was told they come with spacers. The packaging did not include any spacers so when I called **************** a second time to ask about them, I was told that spacers are not available for the product I ordered and they were not even offered on the website as an option. Not sure how customers are supposed to know that if there is no option for spacers on the ordering page for an Outside Mounted product, that they are NOT available for the product . So essentially, I was sold a product that could not be installed without buying additional parts off Amazon.Select Blinds

First, I'll say SelectBlinds eventually came to their senses and did what we asked, however the effort it took to get here was ridiculous. We placed an order, we did the measurements incorrectly and asked that they send us new ones. We paid the full amount for the new order even though their website says they won't charge for errors on their part or mine. Granted the fine print, elsewhere on the site, says refunds must be requested within 30 days of the order. We were waiting for new windows so we delayed putting up the blinds. No problem, we shelled out another $200. The real problem is they sent the corrected order to our old address in another state (even though our past three orders were to our current address). We called, spoke to 3 people, they said that because we didn't verify the address on the call while placing the order or review it in our confirmation email then it's our fault. Common sense says "ship it to the same place you sent the last order," but this company does not put the customer first, nor does it use common sense. After several go arounds, the manager basically said this issue wasn't worth dealing with and they would ship our blinds to the same address they sent the last order...."as a courtesy." This customer service model is awful and we now choose to not work with it any longer. That being said, the blinds are good quality, the selection is good and if it wasn't for their garbage customer service, we would have ordered from them in the future.Select Blinds

4 starsI got solar designer shades for my rooms that have tons of sun. They are great. Quality is superb. Production and shipping is pretty quick. I ordered mid July and it arrived before August. The measuring instructions tell you to measure exact to your window but this makes it extremely hard to push in the shade when you install the brackets. I almost had to return them. I would suggest ordering it .25 to .5 inch shorter in width. The shade is also shorter by an inch so it doesn't cover the bottom of the window. For this, I would suggest adding an inch in height when ordering. Other than that, loving them!Review fromRoland R H

5 starsI was concerned by some negative reviews, however I'm very pleased with the end product. The extend/retract mechanism, when operated mindfully is flawless.
