I purchased a house with SelectBlinds blinds in one of the bedrooms. We have done some remodeling and during that activity, somehow lost the top valance that covers the headrail holding the raising/lowering mechanism. It's a simple piece, looks like crown molding, about 2 1/2 feet long and hooks on with easily breakable little plastic pieces.I called the company to purchase a replacement valance and they told me that because I wasn't the original purchaser they could not sell me any replacement parts for that order more than 12 years ago. It was a privacy issue, they said. I told them the former homeowner was deceased but that did not matter. I have never heard of such an incredibly stupid policy and I will never, ever, ever buy anything from this company again. I strongly encourage everyone to avoid this company!

4 starsAlways love the window coverings, I wish it was possible to order the valance roll cover separately though because I didnt realize what it was until install. **************** got back to me quickly, but unfortunately they said it can only be ordered with the roller shade.
