We purchased Aeratis *************** porch decking for our total home remodel (front porch) after it came highly recommended by a builder and a trusted homeowner. We submitted the warranty information at the end of the job, verified via email from the company. We were pleased with the porch until we noticed after moving in that the edges were chipping. On Aug 1, 2024, I took the attached photos of the edges and submitted a warranty claim to Aeratis. I was contacted on August ************************************************************************************************* his 6 years of working with the company, he had never seen such chipping occur. He came to our home on Aug 23 to inspect the problem and assess the needed repairs. After leaving a voice mail for him on Sept 14, he said via email on Sept 17 that he was seeking a quick resolution to the problem. On Sept 18, I sent additional measurements he had requested via text. My husband and I spoke with him on Oct 1, at which time he presented two options for the repair of the porch, both of which included replacement of the damaged boards, approximately 29 in his estimate. At this time, we asked who would be doing the work, and we made it clear we are not qualified to tear apart our porch to replace *************** boards that are locked together. He then said he needed to speak with his boss to get the okay for the repair. I called and left messages on Nov 1, Nov 27, and finally spoke with him again on Dec 5, when he told me his boss had been out of town and he had been out. I called again on Jan 2, and he returned the call on Jan 6. He said the materials are ready to ship, but he doesn't have an answer about the repair. At this time, I told him our position is still the same, that we no longer have a builder under contract and will not be able to make the repairs ourselves. He was to call me back, and I have heard nothing in the past week. After 5 months of no resolution, we want the repairs completed.
